1[和合本]有一日，那人和他妻子夏娃同房，夏娃就怀孕，生了该隐（就是“得”的意思），便说：“耶和华使我得了一个男子。”
[拼音]yǒu yī rì，nà rén hé tā qī zǐ xià wá tóng fáng，xià wá jìu huái yùn，shēng le gāi yǐn，（jìu shì dé de yì sī）biàn shuō，yē hé huá shǐ wǒ dé le yī gè nán zǐ。
[WEB]The man knewor, lay with, or, had relations with Eve his wife. She conceived,or, became pregnant and gave birth to Cain, and said, “I have gotten a man with Yahweh’s help.”
[ASV]And the man knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man with the help of Jehovah.
2[和合本]又生了该隐的兄弟亚伯。亚伯是牧羊的，该隐是种地的。
[拼音]yòu shēng le gāi yǐn de xiōng dì yǎ bó。yǎ bó shì mù yáng de。gāi yǐn shì zhòng dì de。
[WEB]Again she gave birth, to Cain’s brother Abel. Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
[ASV]And again she bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
3[和合本]有一日，该隐拿地里的出产为供物献给耶和华；
[拼音]yǒu yī rì，gāi yǐn ná dì lǐ de chū chǎn wèi gōng wù xiàn gěi yē hé huá。
[WEB]As time passed, Cain brought an offering to Yahweh from the fruit of the ground.
[ASV]And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto Jehovah.
4[和合本]亚伯也将他羊群中头生的和羊的脂油献上。耶和华看中了亚伯和他的供物，

[WEB]Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. Yahweh respected Abel and his offering,
[ASV]And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And Jehovah had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5[和合本]只是看不中该隐和他的供物。该隐就大大地发怒，变了脸色。
[拼音]zhī shì kàn bù zhòng gāi yǐn hé tā de gōng wù。gāi yǐn jìu dà dà de fā nù，biàn le liǎn sè。
[WEB]but he didn’t respect Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.
[ASV]but unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6[和合本]耶和华对该隐说：“你为什么发怒呢？你为什么变了脸色呢？
[拼音]yē hé huá duì gāi yǐn shuō，nǐ wèi shén me fā nù ne，nǐ wèi shén me biàn le liǎn sè ne。
[WEB]Yahweh said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen?
[ASV]And Jehovah said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7[和合本]你若行得好，岂不蒙悦纳？你若行得不好，罪就伏在门前。它必恋慕你，你却要制伏它。”
[拼音]nǐ ruò xíng dé hǎo，qǐ bù méng yuè nà，nǐ ruò xíng dé bù hǎo，zuì jìu fú zài mén qián。tā bì liàn mù nǐ，nǐ què yào zhì fú tā。
[WEB]If you do well, won’t it be lifted up? If you don’t do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it.”
[ASV]If thou doest well, shall it not be lifted up? and if thou doest not well, sin coucheth at the door; and unto thee shall be its desire; but do thou rule over it.
8[和合本]该隐与他兄弟亚伯说话，二人正在田间，该隐起来打他兄弟亚伯，把他杀了。
[拼音]gāi yǐn yǔ tā xiōng dì yǎ bó shuō huà，èr rén zhèng zài tián jiān，gāi yǐn qǐ lái dǎ tā xiōng dì yǎ bó，bǎ tā shā le。
[WEB]Cain said to Abel, his brother, “Let’s go into the field.” While they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and killed him.
[ASV]And Cain told Abel his brother. And it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
9[和合本]耶和华对该隐说：“你兄弟亚伯在哪里？”他说：“我不知道！我岂是看守我兄弟的吗？”
[拼音]yē hé huá duì gāi yǐn shuō，nǐ xiōng dì yǎ bó zài nà lǐ。tā shuō，wǒ bù zhī dào， wǒ qǐ shì kàn shǒu wǒ xiōng dì de mā。
[WEB]Yahweh said to Cain, “Where is Abel, your brother?” He said, “I don’t know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
[ASV]And Jehovah said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: am I my brother’s keeper?
10[和合本]耶和华说：“你作了什么事呢？你兄弟的血有声音从地里向我哀告。
[拼音]yē hé huá shuō，nǐ zuò le shén me shì ne，nǐ xiōng dì de xuè，yǒu shēng yīn cóng dì lǐ xiàng wǒ āi gào。
[WEB]Yahweh said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries to me from the ground.
[ASV]And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.
11[和合本]地开了口，从你手里接受你兄弟的血。现在你必从这地受咒诅。
[拼音]dì kāi le kǒu，cóng nǐ shǒu lǐ jiē shòu nǐ xiōng dì de xuè。xiàn zài nǐ bì cóng zhè dì shòu zhòu zǔ。
[WEB]Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.
[ASV]And now cursed art thou from the ground, which hath opened its mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;
12[和合本]你种地，地不再给你效力，你必流离飘荡在地上。”
[拼音]nǐ zhòng dì，dì bú zài gěi nǐ xiào lì。nǐ bì líu lí piāo dàng zài dì shàng。
[WEB]From now on, when you till the ground, it won’t yield its strength to you. You will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth.”
[ASV]when thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee its strength; a fugitive and a wanderer shalt thou be in the earth.
13[和合本]该隐对耶和华说：“我的刑罚太重，过于我所能当的。
[拼音]gāi yǐn duì yē hé huá shuō，wǒ de xíng fá tài zhòng，guò yú wǒ suǒ néng dāng de。
[WEB]Cain said to Yahweh, “My punishment is greater than I can bear.
[ASV]And Cain said unto Jehovah, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
14[和合本]你如今赶逐我离开这地，以致不见你面。我必流离飘荡在地上，凡遇见我的必杀我。”
[拼音]nǐ rú jīn gǎn zhú wǒ lí kāi zhè dì，yǐ zhì bú jiàn nǐ miàn。wǒ bì líu lí piāo dàng zài dì shàng，fán yù jiàn wǒ de bì shā wǒ。
[WEB]Behold, you have driven me out today from the surface of the ground. I will be hidden from your face, and I will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth. Whoever finds me will kill me.”
[ASV]Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the ground; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth; and it will come to pass, that whosoever findeth me will slay me.
15[和合本]耶和华对他说：“凡杀该隐的，必遭报七倍。”耶和华就给该隐立一个记号，免得人遇见他就杀他。
[拼音]yē hé huá duì tā shuō，fán shā gāi yǐn de bì zāo bào qī bèi。yē hé huá jìu gěi gāi yǐn lì yī gè jì hào，miǎn dé rén yù jiàn tā jìu shā tā。
[WEB]Yahweh said to him, “Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” Yahweh appointed a sign for Cain, so that anyone finding him would not strike him.
[ASV]And Jehovah said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And Jehovah appointed a sign for Cain, lest any finding him should smite him.
16[和合本]于是该隐离开耶和华的面，去住在伊甸东边挪得之地。
[拼音]yú shì gāi yǐn lí kāi yē hé huá de miàn，qù zhù zài yī diàn dōng biān nuó dé zhī dì。
[WEB]Cain left Yahweh’s presence, and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
[ASV]And Cain went out from the presence of Jehovah, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

17[和合本]该隐与妻子同房，他妻子就怀孕，生了以诺。该隐建造了一座城，就按着他儿子的名，将那城叫作以诺。

[WEB]Cain knew his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Enoch. He built a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

[WEB]To Enoch was born Irad. Irad became the father of Mehujael. Mehujael became the father of Methushael. Methushael became the father of Lamech.
[ASV]And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael; and Mehujael begat Methushael; and Methushael begat Lamech.
19[和合本]拉麦娶了两个妻，一个名叫亚大，一个名叫洗拉。

[WEB]Lamech took two wives: the name of the first one was Adah, and the name of the second one was Zillah.
[ASV]And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
20[和合本]亚大生雅八，雅八就是住帐棚牧养牲畜之人的祖师。

[WEB]Adah gave birth to Jabal, who was the father of those who dwell in tents and have livestock.
[ASV]And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents and have cattle.
21[和合本]雅八的兄弟名叫犹八，他是一切弹琴吹箫之人的祖师。
[拼音]yǎ bā de xiōng dì míng jiào yóu bā。tā shì yī qiè tán qín chuī xiāo zhī rén de zǔ shī。
[WEB]His brother’s name was Jubal, who was the father of all who handle the harp and pipe.
[ASV]And his brother’s name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and pipe.
22[和合本]洗拉又生了土八该隐，他是打造各样铜铁利器的（或作“是铜匠、铁匠的祖师”）。土八该隐的妹子是拿玛。

[WEB]Zillah also gave birth to Tubal Cain, the forger of every cutting instrument of brass and iron. Tubal Cain’s sister was Naamah.
[ASV]And Zillah, she also bare Tubal-cain, the forger of every cutting instrument of brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.
23[和合本]拉麦对他两个妻子说：“亚大、洗拉，听我的声音；拉麦的妻子细听我的话语：壮年人伤我，我把他杀了；少年人损我，我把他害了（或作“我杀壮士却伤自己；我害幼童却损本身”）。

[WEB]Lamech said to his wives, “Adah and Zillah, hear my voice. You wives of Lamech, listen to my speech, for I have slain a man for wounding me, a young man for bruising me.
[ASV]And Lamech said unto his wives: Adah and Zillah, hear my voice; Ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: For I have slain a man for wounding me, And a young man for bruising me:
24[和合本]若杀该隐，遭报七倍；杀拉麦，必遭报七十七倍。”
[拼音]ruò shā gāi yǐn，zāo bào qī bèi，shā lā mài，bì zāo bào qī shí qī bèi。
[WEB]If Cain will be avenged seven times, truly Lamech seventy-seven times.”
[ASV]If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, Truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.

25[和合本]亚当又与妻子同房，她就生了一个儿子，起名叫塞特，意思说：“上帝另给我立了一个儿子代替亚伯，因为该隐杀了他。”

26[和合本]塞特也生了一个儿子，起名叫以挪士。那时候，人才求告耶和华的名。

[WEB]A son was also born to Seth, and he named him Enosh. At that time men began to call on Yahweh’s name.
