[cbgb] 在地上万族中，我只认识你们。因此，我必追讨你们的一切罪孽。 < | >
[niv] "You only have I chosen of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your sins."

[niv] Does a lion roar in the thicket when he has no prey? Does he growl in his den when he has caught nothing?
[asv] Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?

[cbgb] 若没有机槛，雀鸟岂能陷在网罗里呢？网罗若无所得，岂能从地上翻起呢？ < | >
[niv] Does a bird fall into a trap on the ground where no snare has been set? Does a trap spring up from the earth when there is nothing to catch?
[asv] Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is set for him? shall a snare spring up from the ground, and have taken nothing at all?

[cbgb] 城中若吹角，百姓岂不惊恐呢？灾祸若临到一城，岂非耶和华所降的麽？ < | >
[niv] When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?
[asv] Shall the trumpet be blown in a city, and the people not be afraid? shall evil befall a city, and Jehovah hath not done it?
[jnd] Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? Shall there be evil in a city, and Jehovah not have done ?

3:7
[cbgb] 主耶和华若不将奥秘指示他的仆人众先知，就一无所行。 < | >
[niv] Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.
[asv] Surely the Lord Jehovah will do nothing, except he reveal his secret unto his servants the prophets.
[jnd] But the Lord Jehovah will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

[niv] The lion has roared-- who will not fear? The Sovereign LORD has spoken-- who can but prophesy?
[asv] The lion hath roared; who will not fear? The Lord Jehovah hath spoken; who can but prophesy?
[jnd] The lion hath roared, -- who will not fear? The Lord Jehovah hath spoken, -- who can but prophesy?

3:9
[cbgb] 要在亚实突的宫殿中，和埃及地的宫殿里，传扬说，你们要聚集在撒玛利亚的山上，就看见城中有何等大的扰乱与欺压的事。 < | >
[niv] Proclaim to the fortresses of Ashdod and to the fortresses of Egypt: "Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria; see the great unrest within her and the oppression among her people."
[asv] Publish ye in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold what great tumults are therein, and what oppressions in the midst thereof.

3:10
[cbgb] 那些以强暴抢夺财物，积蓄在自己家中的人，不知道行正直的事。这是耶和华说的。 < | >
[niv] "They do not know how to do right," declares the LORD, "who hoard plunder and loot in their fortresses."
[asv] For they know not to do right, saith Jehovah, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

3:11
[cbgb] 所以主耶和华如此说，敌人必来围攻这地，使你的势力衰微，抢掠你的家宅。 < | >
[niv] Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "An enemy will overrun the land; he will pull down your strongholds and plunder your fortresses."
[asv] Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: An adversary there shall be, even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be plundered.
[jnd] Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: An adversary! -- even round about the land! And he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be pillaged.

[ylt] Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: An adversary -- and surrounding the land, And he hath brought down from thee thy strength, And spoiled have been thy palaces.
[bbe] For this reason, says the Lord, an attacker will come, shutting in the land on every side; and your strength will come down and your great houses will be made waste.
3:12
[cbgb] 耶和华如此说，牧人怎样从狮子口中抢回两条羊腿或半个耳朵，住撒玛利亚的以色列人躺卧在床角上，或铺绣花毯的榻上，他们得救也不过如此。 < | >
[niv] This is what the LORD says: "As a shepherd saves from the lion's mouth only two leg bones or a piece of an ear, so will the Israelites be saved, those who sit in Samaria on the edge of their beds and in Damascus on their couches. "
[asv] Thus saith Jehovah: As the shepherd rescueth out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear, so shall the children of Israel be rescued that sit in Samaria in the corner of a couch, and on the silken cushions of a bed.
[jnd] Thus saith Jehovah: Like as the shepherd rescueth out of the jaw of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be rescued that sit in Samaria in the corner of a couch, and upon the damask of a bed.

[ylt] Thus said Jehovah: As the shepherd delivereth from the lion's mouth Two legs, or a piece of an ear, So delivered are the sons of Israel, Who are sitting in Samaria on the corner of a bed, And in Damascus a couch.
[bbe] These are the words of the Lord: As the keeper of sheep takes out of the mouth of the lion two legs or part of an ear; so will the children of Israel be made safe, who are resting in Samaria on seats of honour or on the silk cushions of a bed.
3:13
[cbgb] 主耶和华万军之　神说，当听这话，警戒雅各家。 < | >
[niv] "Hear this and testify against the house of Jacob," declares the Lord, the LORD God Almighty.
[asv] Hear ye, and testify against the house of Jacob, saith the Lord Jehovah, the God of hosts.
[jnd] Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord Jehovah, the God of hosts,
[kjv] Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,

[rsv] "Hear, and testify against the house of Jacob," says the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,

[bbe] Give ear now, and give witness against the family of Jacob, says the Lord God, the God of armies;
3:14
[cbgb] 我讨以色列罪的日子，也要讨伯特利祭坛的罪。坛角必被砍下，坠落于地。 < | >
[niv] "On the day I punish Israel for her sins, I will destroy the altars of Bethel; the horns of the altar will be cut off and fall to the ground.
[asv] For in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him, I will also visit the altars of Beth-el; and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.
[jnd] that in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him, I will also punish the altars of Bethel; and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.

3:15
[cbgb] 我要拆毁过冬和过夏的房屋，象牙的房屋也必毁灭，高大的房屋都归无有。这是耶和华说的。 <
[niv] I will tear down the winter house along with the summer house; the houses adorned with ivory will be destroyed and the mansions will be demolished," declares the LORD.
[asv] And I will smite the winter-house with the summer-house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith Jehovah.
[jnd] And I will smite the winter-house with the summer-house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and many houses shall have an end, saith Jehovah.
