[niv] "At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered.
[asv] And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

[bbe] And at that time Michael will take up his place, the great angel, who is the supporter of the children of your people: and there will be a time of trouble, such as there never was from the time there was a nation even till that same time: and at that time your people will be kept safe, everyone who is recorded in the book.

[niv] Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
[asv] And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
[jnd] And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the expanse; and they that turn the many to righteousness as the stars, for ever and ever.

[niv] But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge."
[asv] But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

12:5

[niv] Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank.
[asv] Then I, Daniel, looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on the brink of the river on this side, and the other on the brink of the river on that side.
[jnd] And I Daniel looked, and behold, there stood other two, the one on this side, on the bank of the river, and the other on that side, on the bank of the river.

[niv] One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?"

[cbgb] 我听见那站在河水以上,穿细麻衣的,向天举起左右手,指着活到永远的主起誓说,要到一载,二载,半载,打破圣民权力的时候,这一切事就都应验了。 < | >
[niv] The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, "It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed."
[asv] And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
[jnd] And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river; and he held up his right hand and his left hand unto the heavens, and swore by him that liveth for ever that it is for a time, times, and a half; and when the scattering of the power of the holy people shall be accomplished, all these things shall be finished.

[ylt] And I hear the one clothed in linen, who upon the waters of the flood, and he doth lift up his right hand and his left unto the heavens, and sweareth by Him who is living to the age, that, `After a time, times, and a half, and at the completion of the scattering of the power of the holy people, finished are all these.'
[bbe] Then in my hearing the man clothed in linen, who was over the river, lifting up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, took an oath by him who is living for ever that it would be a time, times, and a half; and when the power of the crusher of the holy people comes to an end, all these things will be ended.
12:8
[cbgb] 我听见这话,却不明白,就说,我主阿,这些事的结局是怎样呢? < | >
[niv] I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, "My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?"
[asv] And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my lord, what shall be the issue of these things?
[jnd] And I heard, but I understood not. And I said, My lord, what shall be the end of these things?
[kjv] And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
[nwb] And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what the end of these ?
[rsv] I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, "O my lord, what shall be the issue of these things?"

[ylt] And I have heard, and I do not understand, and I say, `O my lord, what the latter end of these?'
[bbe] And the words came to my ears, but the sense of them was not clear to me: then I said, O my lord, what is the sense of these things?

[niv] He replied, "Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.

[niv] Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

[niv] Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
