[niv] "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are now prophesying. Say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination: `Hear the word of the LORD!
[asv] Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of Jehovah:
[jnd] Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say unto them that prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of Jehovah.

[ylt] `Son of man, prophesy concerning the prophets of Israel who are prophesying, and thou hast said to those prophesying from their own heart: Hear ye a word of Jehovah:
[bbe] Son of man, be a prophet against the prophets of Israel, and say to those prophets whose words are the invention of their hearts, Give ear to the word of the Lord;
13:3
[cbgb] 主耶和华如此说，愚顽的先知有祸了，他们随从自己的心意，却一无所见。 < | >
[niv] This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!
[asv] Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

[bbe] This is what the Lord has said: A curse on the foolish prophets who go after the spirit which is in them and have seen nothing!
13:4

[niv] Your prophets, O Israel, are like jackals among ruins.
[asv] O Israel, thy prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.
[jnd] O Israel, thy prophets have been like foxes in desert places.
[kjv] O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
[nwb] O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
[rsv] Your prophets have been like foxes among ruins, O Israel.

[cbgb] 没有上去堵挡破口，也没有为以色列家重修墙垣，使他们当耶和华的日子在阵上站立得住。 < | >
[niv] You have not gone up to the breaks in the wall to repair it for the house of Israel so that it will stand firm in the battle on the day of the LORD.
[asv] Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the day of Jehovah.
[jnd] Ye have not gone up into the breaches, nor made up the fence for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the day of Jehovah.
[kjv] Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.
[nwb] Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.
[rsv] You have not gone up into the breaches, or built up a wall for the house of Israel, that it might stand in battle in the day of the LORD.

[bbe] You have not gone up into the broken places or made up the wall for the children of Israel to take your place in the fight in the day of the Lord.
13:6
[cbgb] 这些人所见的是虚假，是谎诈的占卜。他们说是耶和华说的，其实耶和华并没有差遣他们，他们倒使人指望那话必然立定。 < | >
[niv] Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. They say, "The LORD declares," when the LORD has not sent them; yet they expect their words to be fulfilled.
[asv] They have seen falsehood and lying divination, that say, Jehovah saith; but Jehovah hath not sent them: and they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.
[jnd] They have seen vanity and lying divination, that say, Jehovah saith! and Jehovah hath not sent them; and they make to hope that the word will be fulfilled.
[kjv] They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.
[nwb] They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made to hope that they would confirm the word.
[rsv] They have spoken falsehood and divined a lie; they say, 'Says the LORD,' when the LORD has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfil their word.

[bbe] They have seen visions without substance and made use of secret arts, who say, The Lord has said; and the Lord has not sent them: hoping that the word would have effect.
13:7
[cbgb] 你们岂不是见了虚假的异象麽？岂不是说了谎诈的占卜麽？你们说，这是耶和华说的，其实我没有说。 < | >
[niv] Have you not seen false visions and uttered lying divinations when you say, "The LORD declares," though I have not spoken?
[asv] Have ye not seen a false vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, in that ye say, Jehovah saith; albeit I have not spoken?
[jnd] Have ye not seen a vain vision, and spoken a lying divination, when ye say, Jehovah saith; and I have not spoken?
[kjv] Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?

[rsv] Have you not seen a delusive vision, and uttered a lying divination, whenever you have said, 'Says the LORD,' although I have not spoken?"
[web] Haven't you seen a false vision, and haven't you spoken a lying divination, in that you say, Yahweh says; but I have not spoken?
[ylt] A vain vision have ye not seen, And a lying divination spoken, When ye say: An affirmation of Jehovah, And I have not spoken?
[bbe] Have you not seen a vision without substance and have you not falsely made use of secret arts, when you say, The Lord has said; though I have said nothing?
13:8
[cbgb] 所以主耶和华如此说，因你们说的是虚假，见的是谎诈，我就与你们反对。这是主耶和华说的。 < | >
[niv] "`Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you, declares the Sovereign LORD.
[asv] Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken falsehood, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord Jehovah.
[jnd] Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye speak vanity, and have seen lies, therefore behold, I am against you, saith the Lord Jehovah.

[ylt] Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen a lie, Therefore, lo, I against you, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
[bbe] So this is what the Lord has said: Because your words are without substance and your visions are false, see, I am against you, says the Lord.
13:9
[cbgb] 我的手必攻击那见虚假异象，用谎诈占卜的先知，他们必不列在我百姓的会中，不录在以色列家的册上，也不进入以色列地。你们就知道我是主耶和华。 < | >
[niv] My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.
[asv] And my hand shall be against the prophets that see false visions, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.
[jnd] And my hand shall be against the prophets that see vanity and that divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the register of the house of Israel, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I the Lord Jehovah.
[kjv] And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

[ylt] And My hand hath been on the prophets, Who are seeing vanity, and who are divining a lie, In the assembly of My people they are not, And in the writing of the house of Israel they are not written, And unto the ground of Israel they come not, And ye have known that I the Lord Jehovah.
[bbe] And my hand will be against the prophets who see visions without substance and who make false use of secret arts: they will not be in the secret of my people, and they will not be recorded in the list of the children of Israel, and they will not come into the land of Israel; and it will be clear to you that I am the Lord.
13:10
[cbgb] 因为他们诱惑我的百姓，说，平安。其实没有平安，就像有人立起墙壁，他们倒用未泡透的灰抹上。 < | >
[niv] "`Because they lead my people astray, saying, "Peace," when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash,
[asv] Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace; and when one buildeth up a wall, behold, they daub it with untempered mortar:
[jnd] Because, yea because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace! and there is no peace; and one buildeth up a wall, and lo, they daub it with untempered --
[kjv] Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:
[nwb] Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and no peace; and one built up a wall, and lo, others daubed it with untempered
[rsv] Because, yea, because they have misled my people, saying, 'Peace,' when there is no peace; and because, when the people build a wall, these prophets daub it with whitewash;
[web] Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace; and when one builds up a wall, behold, they daub it with whitewash:
[ylt] Because, even because, they did cause My people to err, Saying, Peace! and there is no peace, And that one is building a wall, And lo, they are daubing it with chalk.
[bbe] Because, even because they have been guiding my people into error, saying, Peace; when there is no peace; and in the building of a division wall they put whitewash on it:
13:11
[cbgb] 所以你要对那些抹上未泡透灰的人说，墙要倒塌，必有暴雨漫过。大冰雹阿，你们要降下，狂风也要吹裂这墙。 < | >
[niv] therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones hurtling down, and violent winds will burst forth.
[asv] say unto them that daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.
[jnd] say unto them which daub it with untempered that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing rain, and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall, and a stormy wind shall burst forth.
[kjv] Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

[rsv] say to those who daub it with whitewash that it shall fall! There will be a deluge of rain, great hailstones will fall, and a stormy wind break out;

[ylt] Say to those daubing with chalk -- It falleth, There hath been an overflowing shower, And ye, O hailstones, do fall, And a tempestuous wind doth rend,
[bbe] Say to those who put whitewash on it, There will be an overflowing shower; and you, O ice-drops, will come raining down; and it will be broken in two by the storm-wind.

[cbgb] 这墙倒塌之后，人岂不问你们说，你们抹上未泡透的灰在哪里呢？ < | >
[niv] When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, "Where is the whitewash you covered it with?"
[asv] Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
[jnd] And lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing with which ye have daubed ?
[kjv] Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
[nwb] Lo, when the wall hath fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where the daubing with which ye have daubed ?
[rsv] and when the wall falls, will it not be said to you, 'Where is the daubing with which you daubed it?'
[web] Behold, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the daubing wherewith you have daubed it?
[ylt] And lo, fallen hath the wall! Doth not one say unto you, Where the daubing that ye daubed?
[bbe] And when the wall has come down, will they not say to you, Where is the whitewash which you put on it?
13:13
[cbgb] 所以主耶和华如此说，我要发怒，使狂风吹裂这墙，在怒中使暴雨漫过，又发怒降下大冰雹，毁灭这墙。 < | >
[niv] "`Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury.
[asv] Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.
[jnd] Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will cause to burst forth a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing rain in mine anger, and hail-stones in fury for utter destruction.
[kjv] Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
[nwb] Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in fury to consume .
[rsv] Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: I will make a stormy wind break out in my wrath; and there shall be a deluge of rain in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to destroy it.
[web] Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will even tear it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.
[ylt] Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: I have rent with a tempestuous wind in My fury, And an overflowing shower is in Mine anger, And hailstones in My fury -- to consume.
[bbe] For this reason, the Lord has said: I will have it broken in two by a storm-wind in my passion; and there will be an overflowing shower in my wrath, and you, O ice-drops, will come raining angrily down.
13:14
[cbgb] 我要这样拆毁你们那未泡透灰所抹的墙，拆平到地，以致根基露出，墙必倒塌，你们也必在其中灭亡。你们就知道我是耶和华。 < | >
[niv] I will tear down the wall you have covered with whitewash and will level it to the ground so that its foundation will be laid bare. When it falls, you will be destroyed in it; and you will know that I am the LORD.
[asv] So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be uncovered; and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
[jnd] And I will break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered , and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered; and it shall fall, and ye shall be destroyed in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I Jehovah.
[kjv] So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
[nwb] So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered , and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation shall be made bare, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst of it: and ye shall know that I the LORD.
[rsv] And I will break down the wall that you have daubed with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be laid bare; when it falls, you shall perish in the midst of it; and you shall know that I am the LORD.
[web] So will I break down the wall that you have daubed with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation of it shall be uncovered; and it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst of it: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
[ylt] And I have broken down the wall that ye daubed with chalk, And have caused it to come unto the earth, And revealed hath been its foundation, And it hath fallen, And ye have been consumed in its midst, And ye have known that I Jehovah.
[bbe] So I will let the wall, which you were covering with whitewash, be broken down; I will have it levelled to the earth so that its base is uncovered: it will come down, and destruction will come on you with it; and it will be clear to you that I am the Lord.
13:15
[cbgb] 我要这样向墙和用未泡透灰抹墙的人成就我怒中所定的，并要对你们说，墙和抹墙的人都没有了。 < | >
[niv] So I will spend my wrath against the wall and against those who covered it with whitewash. I will say to you, "The wall is gone and so are those who whitewashed it,
[asv] Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered mortar; and I will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;
[jnd] And I will accomplish my fury upon the wall, and upon them that daub it with untempered , and will say unto you, The wall is no , neither they that daubed it,
[kjv] Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;
[nwb] Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered , and will say to you, The wall no , neither they that daubed it;
[rsv] Thus will I spend my wrath upon the wall, and upon those who have daubed it with whitewash; and I will say to you, The wall is no more, nor those who daubed it,
[web] Thus will I accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on those who have daubed it with whitewash; and I will tell you, The wall is no more, neither those who daubed it;
[ylt] And I have completed My wrath on the wall, And on those daubing it with chalk, And I say to you: The wall is not, And those daubing it are not;
[bbe] So I will let loose my passion on the wall in full measure, and on those who put whitewash on it; and I will say to you, Where is the wall, and where are those who put whitewash on it?
13:16
[cbgb] 这抹墙的就是以色列的先知，他们指着耶路撒冷说预言，为这城见了平安的异象，其实没有平安。这是主耶和华说的。 < | >
[niv] those prophets of Israel who prophesied to Jerusalem and saw visions of peace for her when there was no peace, declares the Sovereign LORD."'
[asv] to wit, the prophets of Israel that prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and that see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord Jehovah.
[jnd] the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see a vision of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord Jehovah.
[kjv] To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.

[niv] "Now, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who prophesy out of their own imagination. Prophesy against them
[asv] And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, that prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,
[jnd] And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them,
[kjv] Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,
[nwb] Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,
[rsv] "And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own minds; prophesy against them
[web] You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy you against them,
[ylt] And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, who are prophesying out of their own heart, and prophesy concerning them,
[bbe] And you, son of man, let your face be turned against the daughters of your people, who are acting the part of prophets at their pleasure; be a prophet against them, and say,

[cbgb] 说主耶和华如此说，这些妇女有祸了。她们为众人的膀臂缝靠枕，给高矮之人作下垂的头巾，为要猎取人的性命。难道你们要猎取我百姓的性命，为利己将人救活麽？ < | >
[niv] and say, `This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the women who sew magic charms on all their wrists and make veils of various lengths for their heads in order to ensnare people. Will you ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own?
[asv] and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the women that sew pillows upon all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?
[jnd] and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe unto the women that sew pillows for all wrists, and that make veils for the head of every stature to catch souls! Will ye catch the souls of my people, and will ye save your own souls alive?
[kjv] And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
[nwb] And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the that sew pillows to all arm-holes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive to you?
[rsv] and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Woe to the women who sew magic bands upon all wrists, and make veils for the heads of persons of every stature, in the hunt for souls! Will you hunt down souls belonging to my people, and keep other souls alive for your profit?
[web] and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the women who sew pillows on all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?
[ylt] And thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Wo to those sowing pillows for all joints of the arm, And to those making the kerchiefs For the head of every stature -- to hunt souls, The souls do ye hunt of My people? And the souls ye have do ye keep alive?
[bbe] This is what the Lord has said: A curse is on the women who are stitching bands on all arms and putting veils on the heads of those of every size, so that they may go after souls! Will you go after the souls of my people and keep yourselves safe from death?
13:19
[cbgb] 你们为两把大麦，为几块饼，在我民中亵渎我，对肯听谎言的民说谎，杀死不该死的人，救活不该活的人。 < | >
[niv] You have profaned me among my people for a few handfuls of barley and scraps of bread. By lying to my people, who listen to lies, you have killed those who should not have died and have spared those who should not live.
[asv] And ye have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hearken unto lies.
[jnd] And will ye profane me among my people for handfuls of barley and for morsels of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that listen to lying?
[kjv] And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?
[nwb] And will ye profane me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear lies?
[rsv] You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, putting to death persons who should not die and keeping alive persons who should not live, by your lies to my people, who listen to lies.
[web] You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.
[ylt] Yea, ye pierce Me concerning My people, For handfuls of barley, And for pieces of bread, to put to death Souls that should not die, And to keep alive souls that should not live, By your lying to My people -- hearkening to lies.
[bbe] And you have put me to shame among my people for a little barley and some bits of bread, sending death on souls for whom there is no cause of death, and keeping those souls living who have no right to life, by the false words you say to my people who give ear to what is false.

[cbgb] 所以主耶和华如此说，看哪，我与你们的靠枕反对，就是你们用以猎取人，使人的性命如鸟飞的。我要将靠枕从你们的膀臂上扯去，释放你们猎取如鸟飞的人。 < | >
[niv] "`Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against your magic charms with which you ensnare people like birds and I will tear them from your arms; I will set free the people that you ensnare like birds.
[asv] Wherefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms; and I will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
[jnd] Wherefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against your pillows, that the souls which ye catch by their means may fly away; and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, the souls that ye catch, that they may fly away.

[ylt] Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I against your pillows, With which ye are hunting there the souls of the flourishing, And I have rent them from off your arms, And have sent away the souls that ye are hunting, The souls of the flourishing.
[bbe] For this cause the Lord has said: See, I am against your bands with which you go after souls, and I will violently take them off their arms; and I will let loose the souls, even the souls whom you go after freely.
13:21
[cbgb] 我也必撕裂你们下垂的头巾，救我百姓脱离你们的手，不再被猎取，落在你们手中。你们就知道我是耶和华。 < | >
[niv] I will tear off your veils and save my people from your hands, and they will no longer fall prey to your power. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
[asv] Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
[jnd] And I will tear your veils and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I Jehovah.

[niv] Because you disheartened the righteous with your lies, when I had brought them no grief, and because you encouraged the wicked not to turn from their evil ways and so save their lives,
[asv] Because with lies ye have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive:
[jnd] Because with falsehood ye have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and have strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, to save his life:
[kjv] Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
[nwb] Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
[rsv] Because you have disheartened the righteous falsely, although I have not disheartened him, and you have encouraged the wicked, that he should not turn from his wicked way to save his life;

[ylt] Because of paining the heart of the righteous with falsehood, And I have not pained it, And strengthening the hands of the wicked, So as not to turn back from his evil way, To keep him alive,
[bbe] Because with your false words you have given pain to the heart of the upright man when I had not made him sad; in order to make strong the hands of the evil-doer so that he may not be turned from his evil way and get life:

[cbgb] 你们就不再见虚假的异象，也不再行占卜的事。我必救我的百姓脱离你们的手。你们就知道我是耶和华。 <
[niv] therefore you will no longer see false visions or practice divination. I will save my people from your hands. And then you will know that I am the LORD.'"
[asv] Therefore ye shall no more see false visions, nor divine divinations: and I will deliver my people out of your hand; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
[jnd] therefore ye shall no more see vanity, nor divine divinations; and I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I Jehovah.

[ylt] Therefore, vanity ye do not see, And divination ye do not divine again, And I have delivered My people out of your hand, And ye have known that I Jehovah!'
[bbe] For this cause you will see no more foolish visions or make false use of secret arts: and I will make my people free from your power; and you will be certain that I am the Lord.
