[niv] "Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn;

[niv] "I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mortal men, the sons of men, who are but grass,
[asv] I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou art afraid of man that shall die, and of the son of man that shall be made as grass;

[cbgb] 却忘记铺张诸天，立定地基，创造你的耶和华。又因欺压者图谋毁灭要发的暴怒，整天害怕。其实那欺压者的暴怒在那里呢？ < | >
[niv] that you forget the LORD your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor?
[asv] and hast forgotten Jehovah thy Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fearest continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he maketh ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
[jnd] and forgettest Jehovah thy Maker, who hath stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and thou art afraid continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepareth to destroy? And where is the fury of the oppressor?

[niv] The cowering prisoners will soon be set free; they will not die in their dungeon, nor will they lack bread.
[asv] The captive exile shall speedily be loosed; and he shall not die and go down into the pit, neither shall his bread fail.

[niv] Awake, awake! Rise up, O Jerusalem, you who have drunk from the hand of the LORD the cup of his wrath, you who have drained to its dregs the goblet that makes men stagger.

[niv] These double calamities have come upon you-- who can comfort you?-- ruin and destruction, famine and sword-- who can console you?
[asv] These two things are befallen thee, who shall bemoan thee? desolation and destruction, and the famine and the sword; how shall I comfort thee?
