[niv] Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
[asv] Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written therein: for the time is at hand.

[cbgb] 并那诚实作见证的，从死里首先复活，为世上君王元首的耶稣基督。有恩惠平安归与你们。他爱我们，用自己的血使我们脱离罪恶。（脱离有古卷作洗去） < | >
[niv] and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,

[niv] Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.
[asv] Behold, he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

[niv] I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
[asv] I John, your brother and partaker with you in tribulation and kingdom and patience which are in Jesus, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

[niv] I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,

[niv] and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man," dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.
[asv] and in the midst of the candlesticks one like unto a son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about at the breasts with a golden girdle.

[niv] His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.

[niv] His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.
[asv] and his feet like unto burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace; and his voice as the voice of many waters.
[jnd] and his feet like fine brass, as burning in a furnace; and his voice as the voice of many waters;
[kjv] And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

[cbgb] 他右手拿着七星。从他口中出来一把两刃的利剑。面貌如同烈日放光。 < | >
[niv] In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
[asv] And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
[jnd] and having in his right hand seven stars; and out of his mouth a sharp two-edged sword going forth; and his countenance as the sun shines in its power.

[cbgb] 我一看见，就仆倒在他脚前，像死了一样。他用右手按着我说，不要惧怕。我是首先的，我是末后的， < | >
[niv] When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.
[asv] And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last,
[jnd] And when I saw him I fell at his feet as dead; and he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; *I* am the first and the last,

[cbgb] 又是那存活的。我曾死过，现在又活了，直活到永永远远。并且拿着死亡和阴间的钥匙。 < | >
[niv] I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
[asv] and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.
[jnd] and the living one: and I became dead, and behold, I am living to the ages of ages, and have the keys of death and of hades.
