    12[和合本]有一个臣仆说:“我主我王,无人帮助他,只有以色列中的先知以利沙,将王在卧房所说的话,告诉以色列王了。”

    [ASV]And one of his servants said, Nay, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.
    13[和合本]王说:“你们去探他在哪里,我好打发人去捉拿他。”有人告诉王说:“他在多坍。”

    16[和合本]神人说:“不要惧怕!与我们同在的,比与他们同在的更多。”

    [WEB]He answered, “Don’t be afraid; for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

    17[和合本]以利沙祷告说:“耶和华啊,求你开这少年人的眼目,使他能看见。”耶和华开他的眼目,他就看见满山有火车火马围绕以利沙。

    [ASV]And Elisha prayed, and said, Jehovah, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And Jehovah opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
    18[和合本]敌人下到以利沙那里,以利沙祷告耶和华说:“求你使这些人的眼目昏迷。”耶和华就照以利沙的话,使他们的眼目昏迷。

    [WEB]When they came down to him, Elisha prayed to Yahweh, and said, “Please strike this people with blindness.” He struck them with blindness according to Elishah’s word.
    [ASV]And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto Jehovah, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.
    19[和合本]以利沙对他们说:“这不是那道,也不是那城,你们跟我去,我必领你们到所寻找的人那里。”于是,领他们到了撒玛利亚。

    20[和合本]他们进了撒玛利亚,以利沙祷告说:“耶和华啊,求你开这些人的眼目,使他们能看见。”耶和华开他们的眼目,他们就看见了。不料,是在撒玛利亚的城中。

    [WEB]When they had come into Samaria, Elisha said, “Yahweh, open these men’s eyes, that they may see.” Yahweh opened their eyes, and they saw; and behold, they were in the middle of Samaria.
    [ASV]And it came to pass, when they were come into Samaria, that Elisha said, Jehovah, open the eyes of these men, that they may see. And Jehovah opened their eyes, and they saw; and, behold, they were in the midst of Samaria.
    21[和合本]以色列王见了他们,就问以利沙说:“我父啊,我可以击杀他们吗?”

    [WEB]The king of Israel said to Elisha, when he saw them, “My father, shall I strike them? Shall I strike them?”
    [ASV]And the king of Israel said unto Elisha, when he saw them, My father, shall I smite them? shall I smite them?
    22[和合本]回答说:“不可击杀他们。就是你用刀用弓掳来的,岂可击杀他们呢(或作“也不可击杀,何况这些人呢?”)?当在他们面前设摆饮食,使他们吃喝,回到他们的主人那里。”

    [WEB]He answered, “You shall not strike them. Would you strike those whom you have taken captive with your sword and with your bow? Set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.”
    [ASV]And he answered, Thou shalt not smite them: wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.
    23[和合本]王就为他们预备了许多食物。他们吃喝完了,打发他们回到他们主人那里。从此,亚兰军不再犯以色列境了。

    [WEB]He prepared great feast for them. When they had eaten and drunk, he sent them away, and they went to their master. So the bands of Syria stopped raiding the land of Israel.
    [ASV]And he prepared great provision for them; and when they had eaten and drunk, he sent them away, and they went to their master. And the bands of Syria came no more into the land of Israel.

    24[和合本]此后,亚兰王便哈达聚集他的全军,上来围困撒玛利亚。

    25[和合本]于是撒玛利亚被围困,有饥荒,甚至一个驴头值银八十舍客勒、二升鸽子粪值银五舍客勒。

    26[和合本]一日,以色列王在城上经过,有一个妇人向他呼叫说:“我主、我王啊,求你帮助!”

    [WEB]He said, “If Yahweh doesn’t help you, where could I get help for you? From of the threshing floor, or from the wine press?”
    [ASV]And he said, If Jehovah do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the threshing-floor, or out of the winepress?
    28[和合本]王问妇人说:“你有什么苦处?”她回答说:“这妇人对我说,将你的儿子取来,我们今日可以吃,明日可以吃我的儿子。

    [WEB]The king said to her, “What is your problem?” She answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.’
    [ASV]And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to-day, and we will eat my son to-morrow.
    29[和合本]我们就煮了我的儿子吃了。次日我对她说:要将你的儿子取来,我们可以吃。她却将她的儿子藏起来了。”
    [拼音]wǒ mén jìu zhǔ le wǒ de ér zǐ chī le。cì rì wǒ duì tā shuō,yào jiāng nǐ de ér zǐ qǔ lái,wǒ mén kě yǐ chī。tā què jiāng tā de ér zǐ cáng qǐ lái le。
    [WEB]So we boiled my son, and ate him: and I said to her on the next day, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him;’ and she has hidden her son.”
    [ASV]So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him; and she hath hid her son.
    30[和合本]王听见妇人的话,就撕裂衣服(王在城上经过),百姓看见王贴身穿着麻衣。
    [拼音]wáng tīng jiàn fù rén de huà,jìu sī liè yī fú。(wáng zài chéng shàng jīng guò)bǎi xìng kàn jiàn wáng tiē shēn chuān zhe má yī。
    [WEB]When the king heard the words of the woman, he tore his clothes. Now he was passing by on the wall, and the people looked, and behold, he had sackcloth underneath on his body.
    [ASV]And it came to pass, when the king heard the words of the woman, that he rent his clothes (now he was passing by upon the wall); and the people looked, and, behold, he had sackcloth within upon his flesh.
    31[和合本]王说:“我今日若容沙法的儿子以利沙的头仍在他项上,愿上帝重重地降罚与我!”
    [拼音]wáng shuō,wǒ jīn rì ruò róng shā fǎ de ér zǐ yǐ lì shā de tóu réng zài tā xiàng shàng,yuàn shén zhòng zhòng de jiàng fá yǔ wǒ。
    [WEB]Then he said, “God do so to me, and more also, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat stays on him today.”
    [ASV]Then he said, God do so to me, and more also, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day.
    32[和合本]那时,以利沙正坐在家中,长老也与他同坐。王打发一个伺候他的人去,他还没有到,以利沙对长老说:“你们看这凶手之子,打发人来斩我的头,你们看着使者来到,就关上门,用门将他推出去。在他后头不是有他主人脚步的响声吗?”

    [WEB]But Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him. Then the king sent a man from before him; but before the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, “Do you see how this son of a murderer has sent to take away my head? Behold, when the messenger comes, shut the door, and hold the door shut against him. Isn’t the sound of his master’s feet behind him?”
    [ASV]But Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him; and the king sent a man from before him: but ere the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent to take away my head? look, when the messenger cometh, shut the door, and hold the door fast against him: is not the sound of his master’s feet behind him?
    33[和合本]正说话的时候,使者来到,王也到了,说:“这灾祸是从耶和华那里来的,我何必再仰望耶和华呢?”
    [拼音]zhèng shuō huà de shí hòu,shǐ zhě lái dào。wáng yě dào le,shuō,zhè zāi huò shì cóng yé hé huá nà lǐ lái de。wǒ hé bì zài yǎng wàng yē hé huá ne。
    [WEB]While he was still talking with them, behold, the messenger came down to him. Then he said, “Behold, this evil is from Yahweh. Why should I wait for Yahweh any longer?”
    [ASV]And while he was yet talking with them, behold, the messenger came down unto him: and he said, Behold, this evil is of Jehovah; why should I wait for Jehovah any longer?
