1[和合本]“你出去与仇敌争战的时候，看见马匹、车辆，并有比你多的人民，不要怕他们，因为领你出埃及地的耶和华你上帝与你同在。

5[和合本]官长也要对百姓宣告说：‘谁建造房屋，尚未奉献，他可以回家去，恐怕他阵亡，别人去奉献；

6[和合本]谁种葡萄园，尚未用所结的果子，他可以回家去，恐怕他阵亡，别人去用；
[拼音]shuí zhòng pú táo yuán，shàng wèi yòng suǒ jié de guǒ zǐ，tā kě yǐ huí jiā qù，kǒng pà tā zhèn wáng，bié rén qù yòng。
[WEB]What man is there who has planted a vineyard, and has not used its fruit? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man use its fruit.

7[和合本]谁聘定了妻，尚未迎娶，他可以回家去，恐怕他阵亡，别人去娶。’

9[和合本]官长对百姓宣告完了，就当派军长率领他们。

[WEB]It shall be, when the officers have finished speaking to the people, that they shall appoint captains of armies at the head of the people.

10[和合本]“你临近一座城要攻打的时候，先要对城里的民宣告和睦的话。

11[和合本]他们若以和睦的话回答你，给你开了城，城里所有的人都要给你效劳，服侍你；

12[和合本]若不肯与你和好，反要与你打仗，你就要围困那城。

[WEB]If it will make no peace with you, but will make war against you, then you shall besiege it.

13[和合本]耶和华你的上帝把城交付你手，你就要用刀杀尽这城的男丁。

15[和合本]离你甚远的各城，不是这些国民的城，你都要这样待他。

17[和合本]只要照耶和华你上帝所吩咐的，将这赫人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人都灭绝净尽，

[WEB]but you shall utterly destroy them: the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; as Yahweh your God has commanded you;

18[和合本]免得他们教导你们学习一切可憎恶的事，就是他们向自己神所行的，以致你们得罪耶和华你们的上帝。

[WEB]that they not teach you to follow all their abominations, which they have done to their gods; so would you sin against Yahweh your God.
[ASV]that they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so would ye sin against Jehovah your God.
19[和合本]“你若许久围困攻打所要取的一座城，就不可举斧子砍坏树木，因为你可以吃那树上的果子，不可砍伐，田间的树木岂是人，叫你糟蹋吗？
[拼音]nǐ ruò xǔ jǐu wéi kùn gōng dǎ suǒ yào qǔ de yī zuò chéng，jìu bù kě jǔ fǔ zǐ kǎn huài shù mù，yīn wèi nǐ kě yǐ chī nà shù shàng de guǒ zǐ，bù kě kǎn fá。tián jiān de shù mù qǐ shì rén，jiào nǐ zāo tà me。
[WEB]When you shall besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, you shall not destroy its trees by wielding an ax against them; for you may eat of them. You shall not cut them down; for is the tree of the field man, that it should be besieged by you?
[ASV]When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by wielding an axe against them; for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut them down; for is the tree of the field man, that it should be besieged of thee?
20[和合本]惟独你所知道不是结果子的树木可以毁坏、砍伐，用以修筑营垒，攻击那与你打仗的城，直到攻塌了。”
