[ASV]In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of Jehovah unto Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, the prophet, saying,
2[和合本]“耶和华曾向你们列祖大大发怒。

[WEB]“Yahweh was very displeased with your fathers.
[ASV]Jehovah was sore displeased with your fathers.
3[和合本]所以你要对以色列人说，万军之耶和华如此说：你们要转向我，我就转向你们。这是万军之耶和华说的。

4[和合本]不要效法你们列祖。从前的先知呼叫他们说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：你们要回头离开你们的恶道恶行。’他们却不听，也不顺从我。这是耶和华说的。

[WEB]Don’t you be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying: Yahweh of Armies says, ‘Return now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings;’ but they did not hear, nor listen to me, says Yahweh.
[ASV]Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets cried, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, Return ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith Jehovah.
5[和合本]你们的列祖在哪里呢？那些先知能永远存活吗？

6[和合本]只是我的言语和律例，就是所吩咐我仆人众先知的，岂不临到你们列祖吗？他们就回头说：‘万军之耶和华定意按我们的行动作为向我们怎样行，他已照样行了。’”

[WEB]But my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, didn’t they overtake your fathers? “Then they repented and said, ‘Just as Yahweh of Armies determined to do to us, according to our ways, and according to our practices, so he has dealt with us.’”
[ASV]But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? and they turned and said, Like as Jehovah of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

7[和合本]大流士第二年十一月，就是细罢特月二十四日，耶和华的话临到易多的孙子、比利家的儿子先知撒迦利亚，说：

[ASV]Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of Jehovah unto Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, the prophet, saying,
8[和合本]“我夜间观看，见一人骑着红马，站在洼地番石榴树中间。在他身后，又有红马、黄马和白马。”
[拼音]wǒ yè jiān guān kàn，jiàn yī rén qí zhe hóng mǎ，zhàn zài wā dì fān shí líu shù zhōng jiān。 zài tā shēn hòu，yòu yǒu hóng mǎ，huáng mǎ，hé bái mǎ。
[WEB]“I had a vision in the night, and behold,“Behold”, from “הִנֵּה”, means look at, take notice, observe, see, or gaze at. It is often used as an interjection. a man riding on a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in a ravine; and behind him there were red, brown, and white horses.
[ASV]I saw in the night, and, behold, a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle-trees that were in the bottom; and behind him there were horses, red, sorrel, and white.
9[和合本]我对与我说话的天使说：“主啊，这是什么意思？”他说：“我要指示你这是什么意思。”
[拼音]wǒ duì yǔ wǒ shuō huà de tiān shǐ shuō，zhǔ ā，zhè shì shén me yì sī。tā shuō，wǒ yào zhǐ shì nǐ zhè shì shén me yì sī。
[WEB]Then I asked, ‘My lord, what are these?’” The angel who talked with me said to me, “I will show you what these are.”
[ASV]Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will show thee what these are.
10[和合本]那站在番石榴树中间的人说：“这是奉耶和华差遣，在遍地走来走去的。”

[WEB]The man who stood among the myrtle trees answered, “They are the ones Yahweh has sent to go back and forth through the earth.”
[ASV]And the man that stood among the myrtle-trees answered and said, These are they whom Jehovah hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
11[和合本]那些骑马的对站在番石榴树中间耶和华的使者说：“我们已在遍地走来走去，见全地都安息平静。”

[ASV]And they answered the angel of Jehovah that stood among the myrtle-trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.
12[和合本]于是，耶和华的使者说：“万军之耶和华啊，你恼恨耶路撒冷和犹大的城邑已经七十年，你不施怜悯要到几时呢？”

[WEB]Then Yahweh’s angel replied, “O Yahweh of Armies, how long will you not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which you have had indignation these seventy years?”
[ASV]Then the angel of Jehovah answered and said, O Jehovah of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?
13[和合本]耶和华就用美善的安慰话回答那与我说话的天使。

[WEB]Yahweh answered the angel who talked with me with kind and comforting words.
[ASV]And Jehovah answered the angel that talked with me with good words, even comfortable words.
14[和合本]与我说话的天使对我说：“你要宣告说，万军之耶和华如此说：‘我为耶路撒冷、为锡安，心里极其火热。

[WEB]So the angel who talked with me said to me, “Proclaim, saying, ‘Yahweh of Armies says: “I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
[ASV]So the angel that talked with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
15[和合本]我甚恼怒那安逸的列国。因我从前稍微恼怒我民，他们就加害过分。’
[拼音]wǒ shén nǎo nù nà ān yì de liè guó。yīn wǒ cóng qián shāo wéi nǎo nù wǒ mín，tā mén jìu jiā hài guò fēn。
[WEB]I am very angry with the nations that are at ease; for I was but a little displeased, but they added to the calamity.”
[ASV]And I am very sore displeased with the nations that are at ease; for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.
16[和合本]所以耶和华如此说：‘现今我回到耶路撒冷，仍施怜悯。我的殿必重建在其中，准绳必拉在耶路撒冷之上。’这是万军之耶和华说的。

[WEB]Therefore Yahweh says: “I have returned to Jerusalem with mercy. My house shall be built in it,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and a line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem.”’
[ASV]Therefore thus saith Jehovah: I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies; my house shall be built in it, saith Jehovah of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth over Jerusalem.
17[和合本]你要再宣告说，万军之耶和华如此说：‘我的城邑必再丰盛发达。耶和华必再安慰锡安，拣选耶路撒冷。’”

[ASV]Cry yet again, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: My cities shall yet overflow with prosperity; and Jehovah shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

18[和合本]我举目观看，见有四角。
