[niv] He then said to the whole assembly of Israel, "If it seems good to you and if it is the will of the LORD our God, let us send word far and wide to the rest of our brothers throughout the territories of Israel, and also to the priests and Levites who are with them in their towns and pasturelands, to come and join us.
[asv] And David said unto all the assembly of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and if it be of Jehovah our God, let us send abroad every where unto our brethren that are left in all the land of Israel, with whom the priests and Levites are in their cities that have suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us;
[jnd] And David said to all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good to you, and it be of Jehovah our God, let us send abroad to our brethren everywhere, that are left in all the lands of Israel, and with them to the priests and Levites in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves to us;

[bbe] And David said to all the men of Israel who had come together there, If it seems good to you and if it is the purpose of the Lord our God, let us send to all the rest of our brothers, everywhere in the land of Israel, and to the priests and the Levites in their towns and the country round them, and get them to come together here to us;
13:3

[niv] Let us bring the ark of our God back to us, for we did not inquire of it during the reign of Saul."
[asv] and let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we sought not unto it in the days of Saul.

13:6

[niv] David and all the Israelites with him went to Baalah of Judah (Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the LORD, who is enthroned between the cherubim--the ark that is called by the Name.
[asv] And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God Jehovah that sitteth above the cherubim, that is called by the Name.

[web] David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, , to Kiriath-jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God Yahweh that sits the cherubim, that is called by the Name.
[ylt] and David goeth up, and all Israel, to Baalah, unto Kirjath-Jearim that to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God Jehovah, inhabiting the cherubs, where the Name is called on.
[bbe] And David went up, with all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim in Judah, to get up from there the ark of God, over which the holy Name is named, the name of the Lord whose place is between the winged ones.
13:7

[niv] The LORD's anger burned against Uzzah, and he struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So he died there before God.

[niv] Then David was angry because the LORD's wrath had broken out against Uzzah, and to this day that place is called Perez Uzzah.
[asv] And David was displeased, because Jehovah had broken forth upon Uzza; and he called that place Perez-uzza, unto this day.
[jnd] And David was indignant; for Jehovah had made a breach upon Uzza; and he called that place Perez-Uzza to this day.
[kjv] And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day.

13:12

[niv] David was afraid of God that day and asked, "How can I ever bring the ark of God to me?"

[niv] He did not take the ark to be with him in the City of David. Instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.
[asv] So David removed not the ark unto him into the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
[jnd] And David brought not the ark home unto himself into the city of David, but he carried it aside into the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.
