[niv] You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols.
[asv] Ye know that when ye were Gentiles ye were led away unto those dumb idols, howsoever ye might led.

[niv] And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.
[asv] And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, divers kinds of tongues.
