[cbgb] 我小子们哪，我将这些话写给你们，是要叫你们不犯罪。若有人犯罪，在父那里我们有一位中保，就是那义者耶稣基督。 >
[niv] My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
[asv] My little children, these things write I unto you that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

[cbgb] 凡遵守主道的，爱　神的心在他里面实在是完全的，从此我们知道我们是在主里面。 < | >
[niv] But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him:
[asv] but whoso keepeth his word, in him verily hath the love of God been perfected. Hereby we know that we are in him:

[niv] Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.

[bbe] He who has no belief in the Son has not the Father: he who makes clear his belief in the Son has the Father.
2:24
[cbgb] 论到你们，务要将那从起初所听见的常存在心里。若将从起初所听见的存在心里，你们就必住在子里面，也必住在父里面。 < | >
[niv] See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
[asv] As for you, let that abide in you which ye heard from the beginning. If that which ye heard from the beginning abide in you, ye also shall abide in the Son, and in the Father.
[jnd] As for *you* let that which ye have heard from the beginning abide in you: if what ye have heard from the beginning abides in you, *ye* also shall abide in the Son and in the Father.

[cbgb] 你们从主所受的恩膏，常存在你们心里，并不用人教训你们。自有主的恩膏在凡事上教训你们。这恩膏是真的，不是假的。你们要按这恩膏的教训，住在主里面。 < | >
[niv] As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him.
[asv] And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any one teach you; but as his anointing teacheth you; concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye abide in him.
[jnd] and *yourselves*, the unction which ye have received from him abides in you, and ye have not need that any one should teach you; but as the same unction teaches you as to all things, and is true and is not a lie, and even as it has taught you, ye shall abide in him.

[bbe] As for you, the Spirit which he gave you is still in you, and you have no need of any teacher; but as his Spirit gives you teaching about all things, and is true and not false, so keep your hearts in him, through the teaching which he has given you.

[niv] And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
[asv] And now, my little children, abide in him; that, if he shall be manifested, we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

[niv] If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.
[asv] If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one also that doeth righteousness is begotten of him.
[jnd] If ye know that he is righteous, know that every one who practises righteousness is begotten of him.
[kjv] If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
[nwb] If ye know that he is righteous ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
[rsv] If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that every one who does right is born of him.
