[cbgb] 你看父赐给我们是何等的慈爱，使我们得称为　神的儿女。我们也真是他的儿女。世人所以不认识我们，是因未曾认识他。 >
[niv] How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
[asv] Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
[jnd] See what love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. For this reason the world knows us not, because it knew him not.

[niv] Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
