[niv] The king of Israel had said to his officials, "Don't you know that Ramoth Gilead belongs to us and yet we are doing nothing to retake it from the king of Aram?"
[asv] And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth-gilead is ours, and we are still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?
[jnd] And the king of Israel said to his servants, Do ye know that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we keep quiet without taking it out of the hand of the king of Syria?
[kjv] And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?
[nwb] And the king of Israel said to his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead ours, and we still, take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?

[ylt] and the king of Israel saith unto his servants, `Have ye not known that ours Ramoth-Gilead? and we are keeping silent from taking it out of the hand of the king of Aram!'
[bbe] And the king of Israel said to his servants, Do you not see that Ramoth-gilead is ours? and we are doing nothing to get it back from the hands of the king of Aram.
22:4

[niv] So he asked Jehoshaphat, "Will you go with me to fight against Ramoth Gilead?" Jehoshaphat replied to the king of Israel, "I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses."
[asv] And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramoth-gilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.

[asv] And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Inquire first, I pray thee, for the word of Jehovah.
[jnd] And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, Inquire, I pray thee, this day of the word of Jehovah.
[kjv] And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.

[niv] So the king of Israel brought together the prophets--about four hundred men--and asked them, "Shall I go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or shall I refrain?" "Go," they answered, "for the Lord will give it into the king's hand."
[asv] Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king.
[jnd] And the king of Israel assembled the prophets, about four hundred men, and said to them, Shall I go against Ramoth-Gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up, and the Lord will give it into the king's hand.

[niv] But Jehoshaphat asked, "Is there not a prophet of the LORD here whom we can inquire of?"
[asv] But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of Jehovah besides, that we may inquire of him?
[jnd] But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of Jehovah besides, that we might inquire of him?
[kjv] And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?
[nwb] And Jehoshaphat said, not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we may inquire of him?
[rsv] But Jehosh'aphat said, "Is there not here another prophet of the LORD of whom we may inquire?"
[web] But Jehoshaphat said, Isn't there here a prophet of Yahweh besides, that we may inquire of him?
[ylt] And Jehoshaphat saith, `Is there not here a prophet of Jehovah besides, and we seek by him?'
[bbe] But Jehoshaphat said, Is there no other prophet of the Lord here from whom we may get directions?
22:8
[cbgb] 以色列王对约沙法说,还有一个人,是音拉的儿子米该雅,我们可以托他求问耶和华。只是我恨他。因为他指着我所说的预言,不说吉语,单说凶言。约沙法说,王不必这样说。 < | >
[niv] The king of Israel answered Jehoshaphat, "There is still one man through whom we can inquire of the LORD, but I hate him because he never prophesies anything good about me, but always bad. He is Micaiah son of Imlah." "The king should not say that," Jehoshaphat replied.
[asv] And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, there is yet one man by whom we may inquire of Jehovah, Micaiah the son of Imlah: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
[jnd] And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of Jehovah; but I hate him, for he prophesies no good concerning me, but evil: Micah the son of Imlah. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

[bbe] And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, There is still one man by whom we may get directions from the Lord, Micaiah, son of Imlah; but I have no love for him, for he is a prophet of evil to me and not of good. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
22:9

[niv] So the king of Israel called one of his officials and said, "Bring Micaiah son of Imlah at once."
[asv] Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Fetch quickly Micaiah the son of Imlah.
[jnd] Then the king of Israel called a chamberlain, and said, Fetch quickly Micah the son of Imlah.
[kjv] Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten hither Micaiah the son of Imlah.

[rsv] Then the king of Israel summoned an officer and said, "Bring quickly Micai'ah the son of Imlah."

[ylt] And the king of Israel calleth unto a certain eunuch, and saith, `Hasten Micaiah son of Imlah.'
[bbe] Then the king of Israel sent for one of his unsexed servants and said, Go quickly and come back with Micaiah, the son of Imlah.

[niv] Dressed in their royal robes, the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah were sitting on their thrones at the threshing floor by the entrance of the gate of Samaria, with all the prophets prophesying before them.
[asv] Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah were sitting each on his throne, arrayed in their robes, in an open place at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets were prophesying before them.
[jnd] And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, having put on their robes, sat each on his throne, in the open place at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.

[bbe] Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, were seated on their seats of authority, dressed in their robes, by the doorway into Samaria; and all the prophets were acting as prophets before them.
22:11

[niv] Now Zedekiah son of Kenaanah had made iron horns and he declared, "This is what the LORD says: `With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed.'"
[asv] And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until they be consumed.
[jnd] And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron, and he said, Thus saith Jehovah: With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have exterminated them.
[kjv] And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them.
[nwb] And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou hast consumed them.
[rsv] And Zedeki'ah the son of Chena'anah made for himself horns of iron, and said, "Thus says the LORD, 'With these you shall push the Syrians until they are destroyed.'"
[web] Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron, and said, Thus says Yahweh, With these shall you push the Syrians, until they be consumed.
[ylt] And Zedekiah son of Chenaanah maketh for himself horns of iron, and saith, `Thus said Jehovah, By these thou dost push the Aramaeans till they are consumed;'
[bbe] And Zedekiah, the son of Chenaanah, made himself horns of iron and said, The Lord says, Pushing back the Aramaeans with these, you will put an end to them completely.
22:12

[niv] All the other prophets were prophesying the same thing. "Attack Ramoth Gilead and be victorious," they said, "for the LORD will give it into the king's hand."
[asv] And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramoth-gilead, and prosper; for Jehovah will deliver it into the hand of the king.
[jnd] And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramoth-Gilead, and prosper; for Jehovah will give it into the king's hand.

22:13
[cbgb] 那去召米该雅的使者对米该雅说。众先知一口同音地都向王说吉言,你不如与他们说一样的话,也说吉言。 < | >
[niv] The messenger who had gone to summon Micaiah said to him, "Look, as one man the other prophets are predicting success for the king. Let your word agree with theirs, and speak favorably."
[asv] And the messenger that went to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak thou good.
[jnd] And the messenger that went to call Micah spoke to him saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets good to the king with one assent: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak good.
[kjv] And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.
[nwb] And the messenger that went to call Micaiah, spoke to him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets good to the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak good.
[rsv] And the messenger who went to summon Micai'ah said to him, "Behold, the words of the prophets with one accord are favorable to the king; let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak favorably."
[web] The messenger who went to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, See now, the words of the prophets good to the king with one mouth: please let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak you good.
[ylt] And the messenger who hath gone to call Micaiah hath spoken unto him, saying, `Lo, I pray thee, the words of the prophets, with one mouth, good towards the king; let it be, I pray thee, thy word as the word of one of them -- and thou hast spoken good.'
[bbe] Now the servant who had gone to get Micaiah said to him, See now, all the prophets with one voice are saying good things to the king; so let your words be like theirs and say good things.
22:14

[niv] But Micaiah said, "As surely as the LORD lives, I can tell him only what the LORD tells me."

[rsv] But Micai'ah said, "As the LORD lives, what the LORD says to me, that I will speak."
[web] Micaiah said, As Yahweh lives, what Yahweh says to me, that will I speak.
[ylt] And Micaiah saith, `Jehovah liveth; surely that which Jehovah saith unto me -- it I speak.'
[bbe] And Micaiah said, By the living Lord, whatever the Lord says to me I will say.
22:15

[niv] The king said to him, "How many times must I make you swear to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?"
[asv] And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou speak unto me nothing but the truth in the name of Jehovah?
[jnd] And the king said to him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but truth in the name of Jehovah?
[kjv] And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?
[nwb] And the king said to him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but true in the name of the LORD?
[rsv] But the king said to him, "How many times shall I adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?"
[web] The king said to him, How many times shall I adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of Yahweh?
[ylt] And the king saith unto him, `How many times am I adjuring thee that thou speak nothing unto me but truth in the name of Jehovah?'
[bbe] Then the king said to him, Have I not, again and again, put you on your oath to say nothing to me but what is true in the name of the Lord?
22:17

[niv] Then Micaiah answered, "I saw all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep without a shepherd, and the LORD said, `These people have no master. Let each one go home in peace.'"
[asv] And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and Jehovah said, These have no master; let them return every man to his house in peace.
[jnd] And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And Jehovah said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.

[asv] And a certain man drew his bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the armor: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thy hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am sore wounded.

[bbe] And a certain man sent an arrow from his bow without thought of its direction, and gave the king of Israel a wound where his breastplate was joined to his clothing; so he said to the driver of his war-carriage, Go to one side and take me away out of the army, for I am badly wounded.
