[niv] David asked, "Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan's sake?"
[asv] And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan's sake?
[jnd] And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?
[kjv] And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?
[nwb] And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan's sake?

[bbe] And David said, Is there still anyone of Saul's family living, so that I may be a friend to him, because of Jonathan?
9:2

[niv] Now there was a servant of Saul's household named Ziba. They called him to appear before David, and the king said to him, "Are you Ziba?" "Your servant," he replied.
[asv] And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba, and they called him unto David; and the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.
[jnd] And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba; and they called him to David. And the king said to him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant!
[kjv] And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.

[niv] The king asked, "Is there no one still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show God's kindness?" Ziba answered the king, "There is still a son of Jonathan; he is crippled in both feet."
[asv] And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, who is lame of his feet.
[jnd] And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God to him? And Ziba said to the king, Jonathan has yet a son, who is lame on feet.

[nwb] And the king said, there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God to him? and Ziba said to the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, lame in feet.
[rsv] And the king said, "Is there not still some one of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God to him?" Ziba said to the king, "There is still a son of Jonathan; he is crippled in his feet."
[web] The king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God to him? Ziba said to the king, Jonathan has yet a son, who is lame of his feet.
[ylt] And the king saith, `Is there not yet a man to the house of Saul, and I do with him the kindness of God?' And Ziba saith unto the king, `Jonathan hath yet a son -- lame.'
[bbe] And the king said, Is there anyone of Saul's family still living, to whom I may be a friend in God's name? And Ziba said, There is a son of Jonathan, whose feet are damaged.
9:4

[niv] "Where is he?" the king asked. Ziba answered, "He is at the house of Makir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar."

[niv] So King David had him brought from Lo Debar, from the house of Makir son of Ammiel.
[asv] Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, from Lo-debar.

9:6

[niv] When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he bowed down to pay him honor. David said, "Mephibosheth!" "Your servant," he replied.
[asv] And Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came unto David, and fell on his face, and did obeisance. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold, thy servant!
[jnd] And Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, and fell on his face and did obeisance. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he said, Behold thy servant!
[kjv] Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!

[bbe] And Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, came to David, and falling down on his face, gave him honour. And David said, Mephibosheth. And answering he said, Your servant is here.
9:7
[cbgb] 大卫说，你不要惧怕，我必因你父亲约拿单的缘故施恩与你，将你祖父扫罗的一切田地都归还你。你也可以常与我同席吃饭。 < | >
[niv] "Don't be afraid," David said to him, "for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table."
[asv] And David said unto him, Fear not; for I will surely show thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
[jnd] And David said to him, Fear not; for I will certainly shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
[kjv] And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

[ylt] And David saith to him, `Be not afraid; for I certainly do with thee kindness because of Jonathan thy father, and have given back to thee all the field of Saul thy father, and thou dost eat bread at my table continually.'
[bbe] And David said to him, Have no fear: for truly I will be good to you, because of your father Jonathan, and I will give back to you all the land which was Saul's; and you will have a place at my table at all times.
9:8
[cbgb] 米非波设又叩拜，说，仆人算什么，不过如死狗一般，竟蒙王这样眷顾。 < | >
[niv] Mephibosheth bowed down and said, "What is your servant, that you should notice a dead dog like me?"
[asv] And he did obeisance, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
[jnd] And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
[kjv] And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
[nwb] And he bowed himself, and said, What thy servant, that thou shouldst look upon such a dead dog as I ?
[rsv] And he did obeisance, and said, "What is your servant, that you should look upon a dead dog such as I?"
[web] He did obeisance, and said, What is your servant, that you should look on such a dead dog as I am?
[ylt] And he boweth himself, and saith, `What thy servant, that thou hast turned unto the dead dog -- such as I?'
[bbe] And he went down on his face before the king, and said, What is your servant, for you to take note of a dead dog such as I am?

[niv] Then the king summoned Ziba, Saul's servant, and said to him, "I have given your master's grandson everything that belonged to Saul and his family.
[asv] Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, All that pertained to Saul and to all his house have I given unto thy master's son.
[jnd] Then the king called Ziba, Saul's servant, and said to him, I have given to thy master's son all that belonged to Saul and to all his house.

[bbe] Then the king sent for Ziba, Saul's servant, and said to him, All the property of Saul and of his family I have given to your master's son.
9:10
[cbgb] 你和你的众子，仆人要为你主人的儿子米非波设耕种田地，把所产的拿来供他食用。他却要常与我同席吃饭。洗巴有十五个儿子，二十个仆人。 < | >
[niv] You and your sons and your servants are to farm the land for him and bring in the crops, so that your master's grandson may be provided for. And Mephibosheth, grandson of your master, will always eat at my table." (Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.)
[asv] And thou shalt till the land for him, thou, and thy sons, and thy servants; and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have bread to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
[jnd] And thou, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in , that thy master's son may have food to eat. And Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread at my table continually. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.

[bbe] And you and your sons and your servants are to take care of the land for him, and get in the fruit of it, so that your master's son may have food: but Mephibosheth, your master's son, will have a place at my table at all times. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
9:11

[niv] Then Ziba said to the king, "Your servant will do whatever my lord the king commands his servant to do." So Mephibosheth ate at David's table like one of the king's sons.
[asv] Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king commandeth his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.
[jnd] And Ziba said to the king, According to all that my lord the king has commanded his servant, so will thy servant do. And Mephibosheth shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.
[kjv] Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.

[rsv] Then Ziba said to the king, "According to all that my lord the king commands his servant, so will your servant do." So Mephib'osheth ate at David's table, like one of the king's sons.

[ylt] And Ziba saith unto the king, `According to all that my lord the king commandeth his servant, so doth thy servant;' as to Mephibosheth, `he is eating at my table () as one of the sons of the king.'
[bbe] Then Ziba said to the king, Every order which you have given to your servant will be done. As for Mephibosheth, he had a place at David's table, like one of the king's sons.

[niv] Mephibosheth had a young son named Mica, and all the members of Ziba's household were servants of Mephibosheth.
[asv] And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Mica. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.
[jnd] And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Mica. And all who dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants to Mephibosheth.
[kjv] And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.

[niv] And Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem, because he always ate at the king's table, and he was crippled in both feet.
[asv] So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem; for he did eat continually at the king's table. And he was lame in both his feet.
