[niv] I looked into it and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds of the air.
[asv] upon which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw the fourfooted beasts of the earth and wild beasts and creeping things and birds of the heaven.
[jnd] on which having fixed mine eyes, I considered, and saw the quadrupeds of the earth, and the wild beasts, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the heaven.

[niv] Then I heard a voice telling me, `Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.'

[niv] He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.'

[niv] When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."

[asv] They therefore that were scattered abroad upon the tribulation that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phoenicia, and Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to none save only to Jews.

[jnd] But there were certain of them, Cyprians and Cyrenians, who entering into Antioch spoke to the Greeks also, announcing the glad tidings of the Lord Jesus.

[niv] When he arrived and saw the evidence of the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.

[asv] And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be a great famine over all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius.
[jnd] and one from among them, by name Agabus, rose up and signified by the Spirit that there was going to be a great famine over all the inhabited earth, which also came to pass under Claudius.
