[niv] and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem.

[niv] He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?"
[asv] and he fell upon the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
[jnd] and falling on the earth he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why dost thou persecute me?

[niv] "Who are you, Lord?" Saul asked. "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he replied.
[asv] And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:

[niv] "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do."

[niv] Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus.

[jnd] And the Lord said to him, Go, for this is an elect vessel to me, to bear my name before both nations and kings and sons of Israel:

[niv] Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord--Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here--has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit."
[asv] And Ananias departed, and entered into the house; and laying his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared unto thee in the way which thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
[jnd] And Ananias went and entered into the house; and laying his hands upon him he said, Saul, brother, the Lord has sent me, Jesus that appeared to thee in the way in which thou camest, that thou mightest see, and be filled with Holy Spirit.

[ylt] And Ananias went away, and did enter into the house, and having put upon him hands, said, `Saul, brother, the Lord hath sent me -- Jesus who did appear to thee in the way in which thou wast coming -- that thou mayest see again, and mayest be filled with the Holy Spirit.'
[bbe] And Ananias went out and came to the house, and putting his hands on him, said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, whom you saw when you were on your journey, has sent me, so that you may be able to see, and be full of the Holy Spirit.

[niv] Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized,
[asv] And straightway there fell from his eyes as it were scales, and he received his sight; and he arose and was baptized;

[niv] At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God.

[niv] All those who heard him were astonished and asked, "Isn't he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name? And hasn't he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?"
[asv] And all that heard him were amazed, and said, Is not this he that in Jerusalem made havoc of them that called on this name? and he had come hither for this intent, that he might bring them bound before the chief priests.
[jnd] And all who heard were astonished and said, Is not this *he* who destroyed in Jerusalem those who called on this name, and here was come for this purpose, that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?

[bbe] And all those hearing him were full of wonder and said, Is not this the man who in Jerusalem was attacking all the worshippers of this name? and he had come here so that he might take them as prisoners before the chief priests.

[cbgb] 但扫罗越发有能力，驳倒住大马色的犹太人，证明耶稣是基督。 < | >
[niv] Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Christ.
[asv] But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews that dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.
[jnd] But Saul increased the more in power, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.
