[niv] You are to say everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his country.
[asv] Thou shalt speak all that I command thee; and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.

[niv] But I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and though I multiply my miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt,
[asv] And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

[niv] he will not listen to you. Then I will lay my hand on Egypt and with mighty acts of judgment I will bring out my divisions, my people the Israelites.
[asv] But Pharaoh will not hearken unto you, and I will lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth my hosts, my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

[niv] And the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring the Israelites out of it."

[niv] "When Pharaoh says to you, `Perform a miracle,' then say to Aaron, `Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh,' and it will become a snake."
[asv] When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Show a wonder for you; then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it down before Pharaoh, that it become a serpent.
[jnd] When Pharaoh shall speak to you, saying, Do a miracle for yourselves, -- then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy staff and cast before Pharaoh -- it will become a serpent.

[niv] So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the LORD commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake.
[asv] And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so, as Jehovah had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

[asv] Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers: and they also, the magicians of Egypt, did in like manner with their enchantments.
[jnd] And Pharaoh also called the sages and the sorcerers; and they too, the scribes of Egypt, did so with their enchantments:

[niv] Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron's staff swallowed up their staffs.

[niv] Yet Pharaoh's heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as the LORD had said.

[niv] Then the LORD said to Moses, "Pharaoh's heart is unyielding; he refuses to let the people go.
[asv] And Jehovah said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is stubborn, he refuseth to let the people go.
[jnd] And Jehovah said to Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened: he refuseth to let the people go.
[kjv] And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.

[niv] Go to Pharaoh in the morning as he goes out to the water. Wait on the bank of the Nile to meet him, and take in your hand the staff that was changed into a snake.
[asv] Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river's brink to meet him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thy hand.
[jnd] Go unto Pharaoh in the morning -- behold, he will go out unto the water -- and take thy stand by the bank of the river in front of him; and take in thy hand the staff that was turned into a serpent.
[kjv] Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river's brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.

[niv] Then say to him, `The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the desert. But until now you have not listened.
[asv] And thou shalt say unto him, Jehovah, the God of the Hebrews, hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou hast not hearkened.
[jnd] And say unto him, Jehovah the God of the Hebrews has sent me to thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness; but behold, hitherto thou hast not hearkened.
[kjv] And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.

[ylt] and thou hast said unto him: Jehovah, God of the Hebrews, hath sent me unto thee, saying, Send My people away, and they serve Me in the wilderness; and lo, thou hast not hearkened hitherto.
[bbe] And say to him, The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to you, saying, Let my people go so that they may give me worship in the waste land; but up to now you have not given ear to his words.
7:17
[cbgb] 耶和华这样说,我要用我手里的杖击打河中的水,水就变作血,因此,你必知道我是耶和华。 < | >
[niv] This is what the LORD says: By this you will know that I am the LORD: With the staff that is in my hand I will strike the water of the Nile, and it will be changed into blood.
[asv] Thus saith Jehovah, In this thou shalt know that I am Jehovah: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in my hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.
[jnd] Thus saith Jehovah: In this shalt thou know that I am Jehovah -- behold, I will smite with the staff that is in my hand upon the water which is in the river, and it shall be turned into blood.
[kjv] Thus saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

[rsv] Thus says the LORD, "By this you shall know that I am the LORD: behold, I will strike the water that is in the Nile with the rod that is in my hand, and it shall be turned to blood,
[web] Thus says Yahweh, "In this you shall know that I am Yahweh. Behold, I will strike with the rod that is in my hand on the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.
[ylt] `Thus said Jehovah: By this thou knowest that I Jehovah; lo, I am smiting with the rod which in my hand, on the waters which in the River, and they have been turned to blood,
[bbe] So the Lord says, By this you may be certain that I am the Lord; see, by the touch of this rod in my hand the waters of the Nile will be turned to blood;
7:18
[cbgb] 河里的鱼必死,河也要腥臭,埃及人就要厌恶吃这河里的水。 < | >
[niv] The fish in the Nile will die, and the river will stink; the Egyptians will not be able to drink its water.'"
[asv] And the fish that are in the river shall die, and the river shall become foul; and the Egyptians shall loathe to drink water from the river.
[jnd] And the fish that is in the river shall die; and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall loathe to drink the water out of the river.
[kjv] And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river.
[nwb] And the fish that in the river shall die, and the river shall be offensive in smell; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river.

[ylt] and the fish that in the River die, and the River hath stank, and the Egyptians have been wearied of drinking waters from the River.'
[bbe] And the fish in the Nile will come to destruction, and the river will send up a bad smell, and the Egyptians will not be able, for disgust, to make use of the water of the Nile for drinking.
7:19
[cbgb] 耶和华晓谕摩西说,你对亚伦说,把你的杖伸在埃及所有的水以上,就是在他们的江,河,池,塘以上,叫水都变作血。在埃及遍地,无论在木器中,石器中,都必有血。 < | >
[niv] The LORD said to Moses, "Tell Aaron, `Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt--over the streams and canals, over the ponds and all the reservoirs'--and they will turn to blood. Blood will be everywhere in Egypt, even in the wooden buckets and stone jars."
[asv] And Jehovah said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thy hand over the waters of Egypt, over their rivers, over their streams, and over their pools, and over all their ponds of water, that they may become blood; and there shall be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone.

[nwb] And the LORD spoke to Moses, Say to Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thy hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood: and there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in wood, and in stone.
[rsv] And the LORD said to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Take your rod and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their rivers, their canals, and their ponds, and all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and there shall be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone.'"

[niv] Moses and Aaron did just as the LORD had commanded. He raised his staff in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials and struck the water of the Nile, and all the water was changed into blood.
[asv] And Moses and Aaron did so, as Jehovah commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

[niv] The fish in the Nile died, and the river smelled so bad that the Egyptians could not drink its water. Blood was everywhere in Egypt.

[niv] But the Egyptian magicians did the same things by their secret arts, and Pharaoh's heart became hard; he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said.
[asv] And the magicians of Egypt did in like manner with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as Jehovah had spoken.
[jnd] And the scribes of Egypt did so with their sorceries; and Pharaoh's heart was stubborn, neither did he hearken to them, as Jehovah had said.
