[niv] Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the gate of the house of the LORD that faces east. There at the entrance to the gate were twenty-five men, and I saw among them Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.
[asv] Moreover the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of Jehovah's house, which looketh eastward: and behold, at the door of the gate five and twenty men; and I saw in the midst of them Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

[ylt] And lift me up doth a spirit, and it bringeth me in unto the east gate of the house of Jehovah, that is facing the east, and lo, at the opening of the gate twenty and five men, and I see in their midst Jaazaniah son of Azzur, and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, heads of the people.
[bbe] And the wind, lifting me up, took me to the east doorway of the Lord's house, looking to the east: and at the door I saw twenty-five men; and among them I saw Jaazaniah, the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, rulers of the people.

[niv] The LORD said to me, "Son of man, these are the men who are plotting evil and giving wicked advice in this city.
[asv] And he said unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise iniquity, and that give wicked counsel in this city;

[rsv] And he said to me, "Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and who give wicked counsel in this city;

[ylt] And He saith unto me, `Son of man, these the men who are devising iniquity, and who are giving evil counsel in this city;
[bbe] Then he said to me, Son of man, these are the men who are designing evil, who are teaching evil ways in this town:

[cbgb] 他们说，盖房屋的时候尚未临近。这城是锅，我们是肉。 < | >
[niv] They say, `Will it not soon be time to build houses? This city is a cooking pot, and we are the meat.'
[asv] that say, The time is not near to build houses: this city is the caldron, and we are the flesh.
[jnd] who say, It is not the time to build houses: this is the cauldron, and we are the flesh.
[kjv] Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

[niv] Therefore prophesy against them; prophesy, son of man."

[niv] Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon me, and he told me to say: "This is what the LORD says: That is what you are saying, O house of Israel, but I know what is going through your mind.
[asv] And the Spirit of Jehovah fell upon me, and he said unto me, Speak, Thus saith Jehovah: Thus have ye said, O house of Israel; for I know the things that come into your mind.

[ylt] And fall upon me doth the Spirit of Jehovah, and He saith unto me, `Say: Thus said Jehovah: Rightly ye have said, O house of Israel, And the steps of your spirit I have known.
[bbe] And the spirit of the Lord came on me, and he said to me, Say, These are the words of the Lord: This is what you have said, O children of Israel; what comes into your mind is clear to me.
11:6

[niv] You have killed many people in this city and filled its streets with the dead.
[asv] Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

[niv] "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot, but I will drive you out of it.
[asv] Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron; but ye shall be brought forth out of the midst of it.

[bbe] For this reason the Lord has said: Your dead whom you have put down in its streets, they are the flesh, and this town is the cooking-pot: but I will make you come out from inside it.

[niv] You fear the sword, and the sword is what I will bring against you, declares the Sovereign LORD.
[asv] Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring the sword upon you, saith the Lord Jehovah.

[niv] I will drive you out of the city and hand you over to foreigners and inflict punishment on you.
[asv] And I will bring you forth out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

[niv] You will fall by the sword, and I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
[asv] Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

[niv] And you will know that I am the LORD, for you have not followed my decrees or kept my laws but have conformed to the standards of the nations around you."
[asv] and ye shall know that I am Jehovah: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither have ye executed mine ordinances, but have done after the ordinances of the nations that are round about you.
[jnd] and ye shall know that I Jehovah, in whose statutes ye have not walked, neither have done mine ordinances, but have done after the ordinances of the nations that are round about you.
[kjv] And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.
[nwb] And ye shall know that I the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that around you.

[ylt] And ye have known that I Jehovah, For in My statutes ye have not walked, And My Judgments ye have not done, And according to the judgments of the nations Who are round about you -- ye have done!'
[bbe] And you will be certain that I am the Lord: for you have not been guided by my rules or given effect to my orders, but you have been living by the orders of the nations round about you.

[niv] Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice, "Ah, Sovereign LORD! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?"
[asv] And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord Jehovah! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?
[jnd] And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. And I fell down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

[web] It happened, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord Yahweh! will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?
[ylt] And it cometh to pass, at my prophesying, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah is dying, and I fall on my face, and cry -- a loud voice -- and say, `Ah, Lord Jehovah, an end Thou art making of the remnant of Israel.'
[bbe] Now while I was saying these things, death came to Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah. Then falling down on my face and crying out with a loud voice, I said, Ah, Lord! will you put an end to all the rest of Israel?

[cbgb] 人子阿，耶路撒冷的居民对你的弟兄，你的本族，你的亲属，以色列全家，就是对大众说，你们远离耶和华吧。这地是赐给我们为业的。 < | >
[niv] "Son of man, your brothers--your brothers who are your blood relatives and the whole house of Israel--are those of whom the people of Jerusalem have said, `They are far away from the LORD; this land was given to us as our possession.'
[asv] Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel, all of them, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from Jehovah; unto us is this land given for a possession.
[jnd] Son of man, thy brethren, thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel, the whole of it, unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem say, Get you far from Jehovah: unto us is this land given for a possession.

[rsv] "Son of man, your brethren, even your brethren, your fellow exiles, the whole house of Israel, all of them, are those of whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, 'They have gone far from the LORD; to us this land is given for a possession.'
[web] Son of man, your brothers, even your brothers, the men of your relatives, and all the house of Israel, all of them, to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from Yahweh; to us is this land given for a possession.
[ylt] `Son of man, thy brethren, thy brethren, men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel -- all of it, they to whom inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Keep far off from Jehovah;
[bbe] Son of man, your countrymen, your relations, and all the children of Israel, all of them, are those to whom the people of Jerusalem have said, Go far from the Lord; this land is given to us for a heritage:
11:16
[cbgb] 所以你当说，耶和华如此说，我虽将以色列全家远远迁移到列国中，将他们分散在列邦内，我还要在他们所到的列邦，暂作他们的圣所。 < | >
[niv] "Therefore say: `This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.'
[asv] Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Whereas I have removed them far off among the nations, and whereas I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them a sanctuary for a little while in the countries where they are come.
[jnd] Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Although I have removed them far off among the nations, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries whither they are come.

[ylt] it ours, the land hath been given for an inheritance; therefore say: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because I put them afar off among nations, And because I scattered them through lands, I also am to them for a little sanctuary, In lands whither they have gone in.
[bbe] For this reason say, This is what the Lord has said: Though I have had them moved far off among the nations, and though I have sent them wandering among the countries, still I have been a safe place for them for a little time in the countries where they have come.

[cbgb] 你当说，主耶和华如此说，我必从万民中招聚你们，从分散的列国内聚集你们，又要将以色列地赐给你们。 < | >
[niv] "Therefore say: `This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.'
[asv] Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
[jnd] Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where ye are scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
[kjv] Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

[bbe] Then say, This is what the Lord has said: I will get you together from the peoples, and make you come out of the countries where you have been sent in flight, and I will give you the land of Israel.

[niv] "They will return to it and remove all its vile images and detestable idols.
[asv] And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

[niv] I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.

[niv] But as for those whose hearts are devoted to their vile images and detestable idols, I will bring down on their own heads what they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD."
