[niv] He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.

[niv] He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know."
[asv] And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord Jehovah, thou knowest.
[jnd] And he said unto me, Son of man, Shall these bones live? And I said, Lord Jehovah, thou knowest.

[bbe] And he said to me, Son of man, is it possible for these bones to come to life? And I made answer, and said, It is for you to say, O Lord.
37:4

[niv] This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.
[asv] Thus saith the Lord Jehovah unto these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.

[niv] I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.'"
[asv] And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

37:10

[niv] Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, `Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.'

[niv] I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.'"

[niv] "Son of man, take a stick of wood and write on it, `Belonging to Judah and the Israelites associated with him.' Then take another stick of wood, and write on it, `Ephraim's stick, belonging to Joseph and all the house of Israel associated with him.'
[asv] And thou, son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

[niv] say to them, `This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to take the stick of Joseph--which is in Ephraim's hand--and of the Israelite tribes associated with him, and join it to Judah's stick, making them a single stick of wood, and they will become one in my hand.'
[asv] say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.
