[asv] And the side-chambers were in three stories, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which belonged to the house for the side-chambers round about, that they might have hold therein, and not have hold in the wall of the house.

[niv] The side rooms all around the temple were wider at each successive level. The structure surrounding the temple was built in ascending stages, so that the rooms widened as one went upward. A stairway went up from the lowest floor to the top floor through the middle floor.
[asv] And the side-chambers were broader as they encompassed the house higher and higher; for the encompassing of the house went higher and higher round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house continued upward; and so one went up from the lowest chamber to the highest by the middle chamber.
[jnd] And for the side-chambers there was an enlarging, and it went round about increasing upward; for the surrounding of the house increased upward round about the house; therefore the house had width upward, and so ascended the lower to the upper, by the middle one.
[kjv] And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst.
[nwb] And an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side-chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward around the house; therefore the breadth of the house upward, and so increased the lowest to the highest by the midst.
[rsv] And the side chambers became broader as they rose from story to story, corresponding to the enlargement of the offset from story to story round about the temple; on the side of the temple a stairway led upward, and thus one went up from the lowest story to the top story through the middle story.

[ylt] And a broad place and a turning place still upwards to the side-chambers, for the turning round of the house still upwards all round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house upwards, and so the lower one goeth up unto the higher by the midst.
[bbe] The side-rooms became wider as they went higher up the house, by the amount of the space let into the wall up round about the house, because of the inlets in the house; and one went up from the lowest floor by steps to the middle, and from the middle to the upper floor.

[niv] I saw that the temple had a raised base all around it, forming the foundation of the side rooms. It was the length of the rod, six long cubits.
[asv] I saw also that the house had a raised basement round about: the foundations of the side-chambers were a full reed of six great cubits.
[jnd] And I saw that the house had an elevation round about: the foundations of the side-chambers, a full reed, six cubits to the joint.
[kjv] I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits.
[nwb] I saw also the hight of the house around: the foundations of the side-chambers a full reed of six great cubits.

[asv] The thickness of the wall, which was for the side-chambers, on the outside, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side-chambers that belonged to the house.
[jnd] The thickness of the wall, which was for the side-chambers without, was five cubits, as also what was left free along the building of the side-chambers that pertained to the house.
