[cbgb] 这事以后，耶和华在异象中有话对亚伯兰说，亚伯兰，你不要惧怕，我是你的盾牌，必大大地赏赐你。 >
[niv] After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward. "
[asv] After these things the word of Jehovah came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

[bbe] After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Have no fear, Abram: I will keep you safe, and great will be your reward.
15:2
[cbgb] 亚伯兰说，主耶和华阿，我既无子，你还赐我什么呢，并且要承受我家业的是大马色人以利以谢。 < | >
[niv] But Abram said, "O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?"
[asv] And Abram said, O Lord Jehovah, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and he that shall be possessor of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?
[jnd] And Abram said, Lord Jehovah, what wilt thou give me? seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus.
[kjv] And Abram said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?
[nwb] And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house this Eliezer of Damascus?
[rsv] But Abram said, "O Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, for I continue childless, and the heir of my house is Elie'zer of Damascus?"
[web] . Abram said, "Lord Yahweh, what will you give me, seeing I go childless, and he who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?"
[ylt] And Abram saith, `Lord Jehovah, what dost Thou give to me, and I am going childless? and an acquired son in my house is Demmesek Eliezer.'
[bbe] And Abram said, What will you give me? for I have no child and this Eliezer of Damascus will have all my wealth after me.
15:3
[cbgb] 亚伯兰又说，你没有给我儿子。那生在我家中的人就是我的后嗣。 < | >
[niv] And Abram said, "You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir."
[asv] And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
[jnd] And Abram said, Lo, to me thou hast given no seed, and behold, a son of my house will be mine heir.

[bbe] And Abram said, You have given me no child, and a servant in my house will get the heritage.
15:4
[cbgb] 耶和华又有话对他说，这人必不成为你的后嗣。你本身所生的才成为你的后嗣。 < | >
[niv] Then the word of the LORD came to him: "This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir."
[asv] And, behold, the word of Jehovah came unto him, saying, This man shall not be thine heir; But he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
[jnd] And behold, the word of Jehovah to him, saying, This shall not be thine heir, but he that will come forth out of thy body shall be thine heir.
[kjv] And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

[bbe] Then said the Lord, This man will not get the heritage, but a son of your body will have your property after you.
15:5

[niv] He took him outside and said, "Look up at the heavens and count the stars--if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be."
[asv] And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and number the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
[jnd] And he led him out, and said, Look now toward the heavens, and number the stars, if thou be able to number them. And he said to him, So shall thy seed be!

[ylt] and He bringeth him out without, and saith, `Look attentively, I pray thee, towards the heavens, and count the stars, if thou art able to count them;' and He saith to him, `Thus is thy seed.'
[bbe] And he took him out into the open air, and said to him, Let your eyes be lifted to heaven, and see if the stars may be numbered; even so will your seed be.
15:6
[cbgb] 亚伯兰信耶和华，耶和华就以此为他的义。 < | >
[niv] Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.
[asv] And he believed in Jehovah; and he reckoned it to him for righteousness.

[niv] He also said to him, "I am the LORD, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it."
[asv] And he said unto him, I am Jehovah that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

[bbe] And he said to him, I am the Lord, who took you from Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land for your heritage.
15:8
[cbgb] 亚伯兰说，主耶和华阿，我怎能知道必得这地为业呢？ < | >
[niv] But Abram said, "O Sovereign LORD, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?"
[asv] And he said, O Lord Jehovah, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
[jnd] And he said, Lord Jehovah, how shall I know that I shall possess it?
[kjv] And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
[nwb] And he said, Lord GOD, by what shall I know that I shall inherit it?
[rsv] But he said, "O Lord GOD, how am I to know that I shall possess it?"
[web] . He said, "Lord Yahweh, whereby will I know that I will inherit it?"
[ylt] and he saith, `Lord Jehovah, whereby do I know that I possess it?'
[bbe] And he said, O Lord God, how may I be certain that it will be mine?
15:9
[cbgb] 他说，你为我取一只三年的母牛，一只三年的母山羊，一只三年的公绵羊，一只斑鸠，一只雏鸽。 < | >
[niv] So the LORD said to him, "Bring me a heifer, a goat and a ram, each three years old, along with a dove and a young pigeon."
[asv] And he said unto him, Take me a heifer three years old, and a she-goat three years old, and a ram three years old, and a turtle-dove, and a young pigeon.
[jnd] And he said to him, Take me a heifer of three years old, and a she-goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtle-dove, and a young pigeon.

[bbe] And he said, Take a young cow of three years old, and a she-goat of three years old, and a sheep of three years old, and a dove and a young pigeon.
15:10
[cbgb] 亚伯兰就取了这些来，每样劈开，分成两半，一半对着一半地摆列，只有鸟没有劈开。 < | >
[niv] Abram brought all these to him, cut them in two and arranged the halves opposite each other; the birds, however, he did not cut in half.
[asv] And he took him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each half over against the other: but the birds divided he not.

[niv] Then birds of prey came down on the carcasses, but Abram drove them away.
[asv] And the birds of prey came down upon the carcasses, and Abram drove them away.

[niv] As the sun was setting, Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a thick and dreadful darkness came over him.
[asv] And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, a horror of great darkness fell upon him.
[jnd] And as the sun was just going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and behold, a horror, a great darkness, fell upon him.
[kjv] And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

[bbe] Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep came on Abram, and a dark cloud of fear.
15:13
[cbgb] 耶和华对亚伯兰说，你要的确知道，你的后裔必寄居别人的地，又服事那地的人。那地的人要苦待他们四百年。 < | >
[niv] Then the LORD said to him, "Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own, and they will be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years.
[asv] And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
[jnd] And he said to Abram, Know assuredly that thy seed will be a sojourner in a land not theirs, and they shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years.
[kjv] And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not their's, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
[nwb] And he said to Abram, Know certainly that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
[rsv] Then the LORD said to Abram, "Know of a surety that your descendants will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and will be slaves there, and they will be oppressed for four hundred years;
[web] He said to Abram, "Know for sure that your seed will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them. They will afflict them four hundred years.
[ylt] and He saith to Abram, `knowing -- know that thy seed is a sojourner in a land not theirs, and they have served them, and they have afflicted them four hundred years,
[bbe] And he said to Abram, Truly, your seed will be living in a land which is not theirs, as servants to a people who will be cruel to them for four hundred years;
15:14
[cbgb] 并且他们所要服事的那国，我要惩罚，后来他们必带着许多财物从那里出来。 < | >
[niv] But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions.
[asv] and also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
[jnd] But also that nation which they shall serve I will judge; and afterwards they shall come out with great property.

[niv] You, however, will go to your fathers in peace and be buried at a good old age.
[asv] But thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

[niv] In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure."

[niv] When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passed between the pieces.
[asv] And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold, a smoking furnace, and a flaming torch that passed between these pieces.
[jnd] And it came to pass when the sun had gone down, and it was dark, that behold, there was a smoking furnace, and a flame of fire which passed between those pieces.

[niv] On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, "To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates--
