2:1
[cbgb] 我要站在守望所,立在望楼上观看,看耶和华对我说什么话,我可用什么话向他诉冤。(向他诉冤或作回答所疑问的)。 >
[niv] I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.
[asv] I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will look forth to see what he will speak with me, and what I shall answer concerning my complaint.
[jnd] I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will look forth to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer as to my reproof.
[kjv] I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
[nwb] I will stand upon my watch, and seat myself upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say to me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
[rsv] I will take my stand to watch, and station myself on the tower, and look forth to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint.
[web] . I will stand at my watch, and set myself on the ramparts, and will look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint.
[ylt] On my charge I stand, and I station myself on a bulwark, and I watch to see what He doth speak against me, and what I do reply to my reproof.
[bbe] I will take my position and be on watch, placing myself on my tower, looking out to see what he will say to me, and what answer he will give to my protest.
2:2
[cbgb] 他对我说,将这默示明明地写在版上,使读的人容易读(或作随跑随读)。 < | >
[niv] Then the LORD replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.
[asv] And Jehovah answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it.
[jnd] And Jehovah answered me and said, Write the vision, and engrave it upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it.
[kjv] And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
[nwb] And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
[rsv] And the LORD answered me: "Write the vision; make it plain upon tablets, so he may run who reads it.
[web] . Yahweh answered me, "Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
[ylt] And Jehovah answereth me and saith: `Write a vision, and explain on the tables, That he may run who is reading it.
[bbe] And the Lord gave me an answer, and said, Put the vision in writing and make it clear on stones, so that the reader may go quickly.
2:3
[cbgb] 因为这默示有一定的日期,快要应验,并不虚谎。虽然迟延,还要等候。因为必然临到,不再迟延。 < | >
[niv] For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
[asv] For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hasteth toward the end, and shall not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay.
[jnd] For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but it hasteth to the end, and shall not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; for it will surely come, it will not delay.
[kjv] For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
[nwb] For the vision yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it may tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
[rsv] For still the vision awaits its time; it hastens to the end--it will not lie. If it seem slow, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay.
[web] For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won't prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won't delay.
[ylt] For yet the vision for a season, And it breatheth for the end, and doth not lie, If it tarry, wait for it, For surely it cometh, it is not late.
[bbe] For the vision is still for the fixed time, and it is moving quickly to the end, and it will not be false: even if it is slow in coming, go on waiting for it; because it will certainly come, it will not be kept back.
2:4
[cbgb] 迦勒底人自高自大,心不正直。惟义人因信得生。 < | >
[niv] "See, he is puffed up; his desires are not upright-- but the righteous will live by his faith --
[asv] Behold, his soul is puffed up, it is not upright in him; but the righteous shall live by his faith.
[jnd] Behold, his soul is puffed up, it is not upright within him: but the just shall live by his faith.
[kjv] Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
[nwb] Behold, his soul is lifted up, is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
[rsv] Behold, he whose soul is not upright in him shall fail, but the righteous shall live by his faith.
[web] Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.
[ylt] Lo, a presumptuous one! Not upright is his soul within him, And the righteous by his stedfastness liveth.
[bbe] As for the man of pride, my soul has no pleasure in him; but the upright man will have life through his good faith.
2:5
[cbgb] 迦勒底人因酒诡诈,狂傲,不住在家中,扩充心欲,好像阴间。他如死不能知足,聚集万国,堆积万民,都归自己。 < | >
[niv] indeed, wine betrays him; he is arrogant and never at rest. Because he is as greedy as the grave and like death is never satisfied, he gathers to himself all the nations and takes captive all the peoples.
[asv] Yea, moreover, wine is treacherous, a haughty man, that keepeth not at home; who enlargeth his desire as Sheol, and he is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all peoples.
[jnd] And moreover, the wine is treacherous: he is a proud man, and keepeth not at rest, he enlargeth his desire as Sheol, and he is like death and cannot be satisfied; and he assembleth unto him all nations, and gathereth unto him all peoples.
[kjv] Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
[nwb] Yes also, because he transgresseth by wine, a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire, as hell, and as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth to him all nations, and collecteth to him all people:
[rsv] Moreover, wine is treacherous; the arrogant man shall not abide. His greed is as wide as Sheol; like death he has never enough. He gathers for himself all nations, and collects as his own all peoples."
[web] Yes, moreover, wine is treacherous. A haughty man who doesn't stay at home, who enlarges his desire as Sheol, and he is like death, and can't be satisfied, but gathers to himself all nations, and heaps to himself all peoples.
[ylt] And also, because the wine treacherous, A man is haughty, and remaineth not at home, Who hath enlarged as sheol his soul, And is as death that is not satisfied, And doth gather unto itself all the nations, And doth assemble unto itself all the peoples,
[bbe] A curse on the cruel and false one! the man full of pride, who never has enough; who makes his desires wide as the underworld! he is like death; he is never full, but he makes all nations come to him, getting all peoples together to himself.

[web] Won't all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, 'Woe to him who increases that which is not his, and who enriches himself by extortion! How long?'
[ylt] Do not these -- all of them -- against him a simile taken up, And a moral of acute sayings for him, And say, Wo him who is multiplying not his? Till when also is he multiplying to himself heavy pledges?
