[niv] The fields of Heshbon wither, the vines of Sibmah also. The rulers of the nations have trampled down the choicest vines, which once reached Jazer and spread toward the desert. Their shoots spread out and went as far as the sea.
[asv] For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah; the lords of the nations have broken down the choice branches thereof, which reached even unto Jazer, which wandered into the wilderness; its shoots were spread abroad, they passed over the sea.

[niv] So I weep, as Jazer weeps, for the vines of Sibmah. O Heshbon, O Elealeh, I drench you with tears! The shouts of joy over your ripened fruit and over your harvests have been stilled.
[asv] Therefore I will weep with the weeping of Jazer for the vine of Sibmah; I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for upon thy summer fruits and upon thy harvest the battle shout is fallen.
[jnd] Therefore I will weep with the weeping of Jaazer for the vine of Sibmah; with my tears will I water thee, Heshbon, and Elealeh, for a cry is fallen upon thy summer fruits and upon thy harvest.

[web] Therefore I will weep with the weeping of Jazer for the vine of Sibmah; I will water you with my tears, Heshbon, and Elealeh: for on your summer fruits and on your harvest the shout is fallen.
[ylt] Therefore I weep with the weeping of Jazer, The vine of Sibmah, I water thee my tear, O Heshbon and Elealeh, For -- for thy summer fruits, and for thy harvest, The shouting hath fallen.
[bbe] For this cause my sorrow for the vine of Sibmah will be like the weeping for Jazer: my eyes are dropping water on you, O Heshbon and Elealeh! For they are sounding the war-cry over your summer fruits and the getting in of your grain;
16:10

[niv] Joy and gladness are taken away from the orchards; no one sings or shouts in the vineyards; no one treads out wine at the presses, for I have put an end to the shouting.
[asv] And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the fruitful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither joyful noise: no treader shall tread out wine in the presses; I have made the vintage shout to cease.
[jnd] And joy and gladness is taken away out of the fruitful field; and in the vineyards there is no singing, neither is there shouting: the treaders tread out no wine in the presses, I have made the cry to cease.

[nwb] And gladness is taken away, and joy from the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in presses; I have made -shouting to cease.
[rsv] And joy and gladness are taken away from the fruitful field; and in the vineyards no songs are sung, no shouts are raised; no treader treads out wine in the presses; the vintage shout is hushed.
[web] Gladness is taken away, and joy out of the fruitful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither joyful noise: nobody shall tread out wine in the presses; I have made the shout to cease.
[ylt] And removed have been gladness and joy from the fruitful field, And in vineyards they sing not, nor shout, Wine in the presses treadeth not the treader, Shouting I have caused to cease.
[bbe] And all joy is gone; no longer are they glad for the fertile field; and in the vine-gardens there are no songs or sounds of joy: the crushing of grapes has come to an end, and its glad cry has been stopped.

[cbgb] 因此我心腹为摩押哀呜如琴,我心肠为吉珥哈列设,也是如此。 < | >
[niv] My heart laments for Moab like a harp, my inmost being for Kir Hareseth.
[asv] Wherefore my heart soundeth like a harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kir-heres.
[jnd] Therefore my bowels sound like a harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirheres.
[kjv] Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirharesh.
[nwb] Wherefore my bowels shall sound like a harp for Moab, and my inward parts for Kir-haresh.
[rsv] Therefore my soul moans like a lyre for Moab, and my heart for Kir-he'res.
[web] Why my heart sounds like a harp for Moab, and my inward parts for Kir-heres.
[ylt] Therefore my bowels for Moab as a harp do sound, And mine inward parts for Kir-Haresh.
[bbe] For this cause the cords of my heart are sounding for Moab, and I am full of sorrow for Kir-heres.
16:12

[niv] When Moab appears at her high place, she only wears herself out; when she goes to her shrine to pray, it is to no avail.
[asv] And it shall come to pass, when Moab presenteth himself, when he wearieth himself upon the high place, and shall come to his sanctuary to pray, that he shall not prevail.
[jnd] And it shall come to pass, when Moab shall appear, shall weary himself on the high place, and enter into his sanctuary to pray, that he shall not prevail.

[ylt] And now hath Jehovah spoken, saying, `In three years, as years of an hireling, Lightly esteemed is the honour of Moab, With all the great multitude, And the remnant little, small, not mighty!'
[bbe] But now the Lord has said, In three years, the years of a servant working for payment, the glory of Moab, all that great people, will be turned to shame, and the rest of Moab will be very small and without honour.
