[niv] Then the Israelites asked, "Who from all the tribes of Israel has failed to assemble before the LORD?" For they had taken a solemn oath that anyone who failed to assemble before the LORD at Mizpah should certainly be put to death.
[asv] And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up in the assembly unto Jehovah? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up unto Jehovah to Mizpah, saying, He shall surely be put to death.
[jnd] And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation to Jehovah? For they had a great oath concerning him that came not up to Jehovah to Mizpah, saying, He shall certainly be put to death.

[asv] And they said, What one is there of the tribes of Israel that came not up unto Jehovah to Mizpah? And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabesh-gilead to the assembly.

[niv] So the assembly sent twelve thousand fighting men with instructions to go to Jabesh Gilead and put to the sword those living there, including the women and children.
[asv] And the congregation sent thither twelve thousand men of the valiantest, and commanded them, saying, Go and smite the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead with the edge of the sword, with the women and the little ones.

21:11
[cbgb] 所当行的就是这样，要将一切男子和已嫁的女子尽行杀戮。 < | >
[niv] "This is what you are to do," they said. "Kill every male and every woman who is not a virgin."
[asv] And this is the thing that ye shall do: ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man.

21:12

[asv] And they found among the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead four hundred young virgins, that had not known man by lying with him; and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.

[jnd] And the elders of the assembly said, What shall we do for wives for them that remain? for the women have been destroyed out of Benjamin.

21:17

[niv] The Benjamite survivors must have heirs," they said, "so that a tribe of Israel will not be wiped out.
[asv] And they said, There must be an inheritance for them that are escaped of Benjamin, that a tribe be not blotted out from Israel.
[jnd] And they said, There must be a possession for those of Benjamin that have escaped, that a tribe be not blotted out of Israel.
[kjv] And they said, There must be an inheritance for them that be escaped of Benjamin, that a tribe be not destroyed out of Israel.
[nwb] And they said, an inheritance for them that have escaped of Benjamin, that a tribe be not destroyed out of Israel.

21:18

[niv] We can't give them our daughters as wives, since we Israelites have taken this oath: `Cursed be anyone who gives a wife to a Benjamite.'
[asv] Howbeit we may not give them wives of our daughters, for the children of Israel had sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to Benjamin.
[jnd] But we cannot give them wives of our daughters, for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to the Benjaminites!

21:19

[niv] But look, there is the annual festival of the LORD in Shiloh, to the north of Bethel, and east of the road that goes from Bethel to Shechem, and to the south of Lebonah."
[asv] And they said, Behold, there is a feast of Jehovah from year to year in Shiloh, which is on the north of Beth-el, on the east side of the highway that goeth up from Beth-el to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.
[jnd] And they said, Behold, there is a feast of Jehovah from year to year in Shiloh, which is on the north side of Bethel, toward the sun-rising of the highway that goes up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.

[rsv] So they said, "Behold, there is the yearly feast of the LORD at Shiloh, which is north of Bethel, on the east of the highway that goes up from Bethel to Shechem, and south of Lebo'nah."
[web] They said, Behold, there is a feast of Yahweh from year to year in Shiloh, which is on the north of Bethel, on the east side of the highway that goes up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.
[ylt] And they say, `Lo, a festival of Jehovah in Shiloh, from time to time, which on the north of Beth-El, at the rising of the sun, by the highway which is going up from Beth-El to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.'

21:22
[cbgb] 他们的父亲或是弟兄若来与我们争竞，我们就说，求你们看我们的情面，施恩给这些人，因我们在争战的时候没有给他们留下女子为妻。这也不是你们将女子给他们的。若是你们给的，就算有罪。 < | >
[niv] When their fathers or brothers complain to us, we will say to them, `Do us a kindness by helping them, because we did not get wives for them during the war, and you are innocent, since you did not give your daughters to them.'"
[asv] And it shall be, when their fathers or their brethren come to complain unto us, that we will say unto them, Grant them graciously unto us, because we took not for each man of them his wife in battle, neither did ye give them unto them, else would ye now be guilty.
[jnd] And it shall be, when their fathers or their brethren come to complain to us, that we will say to them, Gratify us with them, because we did not take each man his wife in the war; for ye did not give them to them, that ye should now be guilty.
