[niv]	"Listen to the terms of this covenant and tell them to the people of Judah and to those who live in Jerusalem.

[niv]	Tell them that this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: `Cursed is the man who does not obey the terms of this covenant--

[niv]	the terms I commanded your forefathers when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the iron-smelting furnace.' I said, `Obey me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God.

[niv]	Then I will fulfill the oath I swore to your forefathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey'--the land you possess today." I answered, "Amen, LORD."

[niv]	From the time I brought your forefathers up from Egypt until today, I warned them again and again, saying, "Obey me."
[asv]	For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.

[cbgb]	他们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟随从自己顽梗的恶心去行。所以我使这约中一切咒诅的话临到他们身上。这约是我吩咐他们行的，他们却不去行。 < \| >
[niv]	But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubbornness of their evil hearts. So I brought on them all the curses of the covenant I had commanded them to follow but that they did not keep.'"
[asv]	Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the stubbornness of their evil heart: therefore I brought upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did them not.

[niv]	Then the LORD said to me, "There is a conspiracy among the people of Judah and those who live in Jerusalem.
[asv]	And Jehovah said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
[jnd]	And Jehovah said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

[cbgb]	他们转去效法他们的先祖，不肯听我的话，犯罪作孽，又随从别　神，事奉它。以色列家和犹大家背了我与他们列祖所立的约。 < \| >
[niv]	They have returned to the sins of their forefathers, who refused to listen to my words. They have followed other gods to serve them. Both the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken the covenant I made with their forefathers.
[asv]	They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear my words; and they are gone after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

[niv]	Therefore this is what the LORD says: `I will bring on them a disaster they cannot escape. Although they cry out to me, I will not listen to them.
[asv]	Therefore thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and they shall cry unto me, but I will not hearken unto them.
[jnd]	Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will bring evil upon them, from which they shall not be able to escape; and they will cry unto me, and I will not hearken unto them.

[niv]	The towns of Judah and the people of Jerusalem will go and cry out to the gods to whom they burn incense, but they will not help them at all when disaster strikes.
[asv]	Then shall the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem go and cry unto the gods unto which they offer incense: but they will not save them at all in the time of their trouble.
[jnd]	Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go and cry unto the gods unto whom they have burned incense; but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.

[cbgb]	犹大阿，你　神的数目与你城的数目相等。你为那可耻的巴力所筑烧香的坛也与耶路撒冷街道的数目相等。 < \| >
[niv]	You have as many gods as you have towns, O Judah; and the altars you have set up to burn incense to that shameful god Baal are as many as the streets of Jerusalem.'
[asv]	For according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to the shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.

[cbgb]	所以你不要为这百姓祈祷，不要为他们呼求祷告。因为他们遭难向我哀求的时候，我必不应允。 < \| >
[niv]	"Do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them, because I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their distress.
[asv]	Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me because of their trouble.

[cbgb]	我所亲爱的，既行许多淫乱，圣肉也离了你，你在我殿中作什么呢？你作恶就喜乐。 < \| >
[niv]	"What is my beloved doing in my temple as she works out her evil schemes with many? Can consecrated meat avert ? When you engage in your wickedness, then you rejoice. "
[asv]	What hath my beloved to do in my house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.
[jnd]	What hath my beloved to do in my house, seeing that the more part practise their evil devices, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? When thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.

[bbe]	About Judah. What have you to do in my house? is it your thought that oaths and holy flesh will get you out of your trouble? will you make yourself safe in this way?

[cbgb]	从前耶和华给你起名叫青橄榄树，又华美又结好果子。如今他用哄囔之声，点火在其上，枝子也被折断。 < \| >
[niv]	The LORD called you a thriving olive tree with fruit beautiful in form. But with the roar of a mighty storm he will set it on fire, and its branches will be broken.
[asv]	Jehovah called thy name, A green olive-tree, fair with goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

[cbgb]	原来栽培你的万军之耶和华已经说，要降祸攻击你，是因以色列家和犹大家行恶，向巴力烧香，惹我发怒，是自作自受。 < \| >
[niv]	The LORD Almighty, who planted you, has decreed disaster for you, because the house of Israel and the house of Judah have done evil and provoked me to anger by burning incense to Baal.
[asv]	For Jehovah of hosts, who planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have wrought for themselves in provoking me to anger by offering incense unto Baal.
[jnd]	For Jehovah of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done for themselves, to provoke me to anger in burning incense unto Baal.

[bbe]	For the Lord of armies, by whom you were planted, has given his decision for evil against you, because of the evil which the people of Israel and the people of Judah have done, In moving me to wrath by offering perfumes to the Baal.

[niv]	Because the LORD revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing.

[niv]	I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying, "Let us destroy the tree and its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no more."

[niv]	But, O LORD Almighty, you who judge righteously and test the heart and mind, let me see your vengeance upon them, for to you I have committed my cause.
