[niv] `Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, you who sit on David's throne--you, your officials and your people who come through these gates.
[asv] And say, Hear the word of Jehovah, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates.

[bbe] And say, Give ear to the word of the Lord, O king of Judah, seated on the seat of David, you and your servants and your people who come in by these doors.
22:3
[cbgb] 耶和华如此说，你们要施行公平和公义，拯救被抢夺的脱离欺压人的手，不可亏负寄居的和孤儿寡妇，不可以强暴待他们，在这地方也不可流无辜人的血。 < | >
[niv] This is what the LORD says: Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of his oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the alien, the fatherless or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place.
[asv] Thus saith Jehovah: Execute ye justice and righteousness, and deliver him that is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence, to the sojourner, the fatherless, nor the widow; neither shed innocent blood in this place.
[jnd] Thus saith Jehovah: Execute judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor; and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place.

[bbe] This is what the Lord has said: Do what is right, judging uprightly, and make free from the hands of the cruel one him whose goods have been violently taken away: do no wrong and be not violent to the man from a strange country and the child without a father and the widow, and let not those who have done no wrong be put to death in this place.

[niv] For if you are careful to carry out these commands, then kings who sit on David's throne will come through the gates of this palace, riding in chariots and on horses, accompanied by their officials and their people.
[asv] For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.

[ylt] For, if ye certainly do this thing, Then come in by the gates of this house Have kings sitting for David on his throne, Riding on chariot, and on horses, He, and his servants, and his people.
[bbe] For if you truly do this, then there will come in through the doors of this house kings seated on the seat of David, going in carriages and on horseback, he and his servants and his people
22:5

[niv] But if you do not obey these commands, declares the LORD, I swear by myself that this palace will become a ruin.'"
[asv] But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith Jehovah, that this house shall become a desolation.

[niv] For this is what the LORD says about the palace of the king of Judah: "Though you are like Gilead to me, like the summit of Lebanon, I will surely make you like a desert, like towns not inhabited.
[asv] For thus saith Jehovah concerning the house of the king of Judah: Thou art Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon; yet surely I will make thee a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.
[jnd] For thus saith Jehovah concerning the house of the king of Judah: Thou art a Gilead unto me, the summit of Lebanon: verily I will make thee a wilderness, cities not inhabited.

[bbe] For this is what the Lord has said about the family of the king of Judah: You are Gilead to me, and the top of Lebanon: but, truly, I will make you waste, with towns unpeopled.
22:7

[niv] I will send destroyers against you, each man with his weapons, and they will cut up your fine cedar beams and throw them into the fire.
[asv] And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons; and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.

[niv] "People from many nations will pass by this city and will ask one another, `Why has the LORD done such a thing to this great city?'
[asv] And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbor, Wherefore hath Jehovah done thus unto this great city?
[jnd] And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath Jehovah done thus unto this great city?
[kjv] And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city?
[nwb] And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbor, Why hath the LORD done thus to this great city?
[rsv] "'And many nations will pass by this city, and every man will say to his neighbor, "Why has the LORD dealt thus with this great city?"
[web] Many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbor, Why has Yahweh done thus to this great city?
[ylt] And many nations have passed by this city, And they have said, each to his neighbour, For what hath Jehovah done thus to this great city?
[bbe] And nations from all sides will go past this town, and every man will say to his neighbour, Why has the Lord done such things to this great town?
22:9
[cbgb] 他们必回答说，是因离弃了耶和华他们　神的约，事奉敬拜别　神。 < | >
[niv] And the answer will be: `Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God and have worshiped and served other gods.'"
[asv] Then they shall answer, Because they forsook the covenant of Jehovah their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.
[jnd] And they shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of Jehovah their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.

[web] Then they shall answer, Because they forsook the covenant of Yahweh their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.
[ylt] And they have said, `Because that they have forsaken The covenant of Jehovah their God, And bow themselves to other gods, and serve them.'
[bbe] And they will say, Because they gave up the agreement of the Lord their God, and became worshippers and servants of other gods.
22:10
[cbgb] 不要为死人哭号。不要为他悲伤，却要为离家出外的人大大哭号。因为他不得再回来，也不得再见他的本国。 < | >
[niv] Do not weep for the dead or mourn his loss; rather, weep bitterly for him who is exiled, because he will never return nor see his native land again.
[asv] Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him; but weep sore for him that goeth away; for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.

[niv] "Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his countrymen work for nothing, not paying them for their labor.
[asv] Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by injustice; that useth his neighbor's service without wages, and giveth him not his hire;
[jnd] Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his upper chambers by injustice; that taketh his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not his earning;
[kjv] Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;

[bbe] A curse is on him who is building his house by wrongdoing, and his rooms by doing what is not right; who makes use of his neighbour without payment, and gives him nothing for his work;

[cbgb] 他说，我要为自己盖广大的房，宽敞的楼，为自己开窗户。这楼房的护墙板是香柏木的，楼房是丹色油漆的。 < | >
[niv] He says, `I will build myself a great palace with spacious upper rooms.' So he makes large windows in it, panels it with cedar and decorates it in red.
[asv] that saith, I will build me a wide house and spacious chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it is ceiled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.
[jnd] that saith, I will build me a wide house, and spacious upper chambers; and he cutteth out for himself windows; and it is wainscoted with cedar, and painted with vermilion.

[bbe] Who says, I will make a wide house for myself, and rooms of great size, and has windows cut out, and has it roofed with cedar and painted with bright red.

[cbgb] 难道你作王是在乎造香柏木楼房争胜麽？你的父亲岂不是也吃也喝，也施行公平和公义麽？那时他得了福乐。 < | >
[niv] "Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar? Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just, so all went well with him.
[asv] Shalt thou reign, because thou strivest to excel in cedar? Did not thy father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? then it was well with him.
[jnd] Shalt thou reign, because thou viest with the cedar? Did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice? Then it was well with him.
[kjv] Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?

[rsv] Do you think you are a king because you compete in cedar? Did not your father eat and drink and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.
[web] Shall you reign, because you strive to excel in cedar? Didn't your father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? then it was well with him.
[ylt] Dost thou reign, because thou art fretting thyself in cedar? Thy father -- did he not eat and drink? Yea, he did judgment and righteousness, Then well with him.
[bbe] Are you to be a king because you make more use of cedar than your father? did not your father take food and drink and do right, judging in righteousness, and then it was well for him?
22:16
[cbgb] 他为困苦和穷乏人伸冤，那时就得了福乐。认识我不在乎此麽？这是耶和华说的。 < | >
[niv] He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?" declares the LORD.
[asv] He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Was not this to know me? saith Jehovah.

22:17
[cbgb] 惟有你的眼和你的心专顾贪婪，流无辜人的血，行欺压和强暴。 < | >
[niv] "But your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain, on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion."
[asv] But thine eyes and thy heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for shedding innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.
[jnd] But thine eyes and thy heart are only on thine extortion, and on the blood of the innocent, to shed it, and on oppression and on violence, to do it.

[bbe] But your eyes and your heart are fixed only on profit for yourself, on causing the death of him who has done no wrong, and on violent and cruel acts.

[cbgb] 所以，耶和华论到犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬如此说，人必不为他举哀，说，哀哉。我的哥哥。或说，哀哉。我的姊姊。也不为他举哀，说，哀哉。我的主。或说，哀哉。我主的荣华。 < | >
[niv] Therefore this is what the LORD says about Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah: "They will not mourn for him: `Alas, my brother! Alas, my sister!' They will not mourn for him: `Alas, my master! Alas, his splendor!'
[asv] Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! They shall not lament for him, saying Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!

[asv] Thus saith Jehovah, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days; for no more shall a man of his seed prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling in Judah.
