[cbgb] 有话说，人若休妻，妻离他而去，作了别人的妻，前夫岂能再收回她来。若收回她来，那地岂不是大大玷污了麽？但你和许多亲爱的行邪淫，还可以归向我。这是耶和华说的。 >
[niv] "If a man divorces his wife and she leaves him and marries another man, should he return to her again? Would not the land be completely defiled? But you have lived as a prostitute with many lovers-- would you now return to me?" declares the LORD.
[asv] They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, will he return unto her again? will not that land be greatly polluted? But thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith Jehovah.
[jnd] They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? Would not that land be utterly polluted? But thou hast committed fornication with many lovers; yet return to me, saith Jehovah.

3:2
[cbgb] 你向净光的高处举目观看，你在何处没有淫行呢？你坐在道旁等候，好像阿拉伯人在旷野埋伏一样，并且你的淫行邪恶玷污了全地。 < | >
[niv] "Look up to the barren heights and see. Is there any place where you have not been ravished? By the roadside you sat waiting for lovers, sat like a nomad in the desert. You have defiled the land with your prostitution and wickedness.
[asv] Lift up thine eyes unto the bare heights, and see; where hast thou not been lain with? By the ways hast thou sat for them, as an Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
[jnd] Lift up thine eyes unto the heights and see, where hast thou not been lain with? In the ways hast thou sat for them, as an Arab in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy fornications and with thy wickedness.

3:3

[niv] Therefore the showers have been withheld, and no spring rains have fallen. Yet you have the brazen look of a prostitute; you refuse to blush with shame.
[asv] Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; yet thou hast a harlot's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

[niv] Have you not just called to me: `My Father, my friend from my youth,
[asv] Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My Father, thou art the guide of my youth?

3:5

[niv] will you always be angry? Will your wrath continue forever?' This is how you talk, but you do all the evil you can."
[asv] Will he retain his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and hast done evil things, and hast had thy way.

[niv] During the reign of King Josiah, the LORD said to me, "Have you seen what faithless Israel has done? She has gone up on every high hill and under every spreading tree and has committed adultery there.
[asv] Moreover Jehovah said unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
[jnd] And Jehovah said unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen what backsliding Israel hath done? She hath gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath committed fornication.
[kjv] The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.

3:7

[niv] I thought that after she had done all this she would return to me but she did not, and her unfaithful sister Judah saw it.
[asv] And I said after she had done all these things, She will return unto me; but she returned not: and her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
[jnd] And I said, After she hath done all these , she will return unto me; but she returned not. And her sister Judah, the treacherous, saw .
[kjv] And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
[nwb] And I said after she had done all these , Turn thou to me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw .
[rsv] And I thought, 'After she has done all this she will return to me'; but she did not return, and her false sister Judah saw it.
[web] I said after she had done all these things, She will return to me; but she didn't return: and her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
[ylt] And I say, after her doing all these, Unto Me thou dost turn back, and she hath not turned back, and see doth her treacherous sister Judah.
[bbe] And I said, After she has done all these things she will come back to me; but she did not. And her false sister Judah saw it.
3:8
[cbgb] 背道的以色列行淫，我为这缘故给她休书休她。我看见她奸诈的妹妹犹大，还不惧怕，也去行淫。 < | >
[niv] I gave faithless Israel her certificate of divorce and sent her away because of all her adulteries. Yet I saw that her unfaithful sister Judah had no fear; she also went out and committed adultery.
[asv] And I saw, when, for this very cause that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorcement, yet treacherous Judah her sister feared not; but she also went and played the harlot.
[jnd] And I saw that when for all the causes wherein backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce, yet the treacherous Judah, her sister, feared not, but went and committed fornication also.
[kjv] And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
[nwb] And I saw, when for all the causes by which backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
[rsv] She saw that for all the adulteries of that faithless one, Israel, I had sent her away with a decree of divorce; yet her false sister Judah did not fear, but she too went and played the harlot.
[web] I saw, when, for this very cause that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorce, yet treacherous Judah, her sister, didn't fear; but she also went and played the prostitute.
[ylt] And I see when (for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery) I have sent her away, and I give the bill of her divorce unto her, that treacherous Judah her sister hath not feared, and goeth and committeth fornication -- she also.
[bbe] And though she saw that, because Israel, turning away from me, had been untrue to me, I had put her away and given her a statement in writing ending the relation between us, still Judah, her false sister, had no fear, but went and did the same.
3:9

[niv] Because Israel's immorality mattered so little to her, she defiled the land and committed adultery with stone and wood.
[asv] And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that the land was polluted, and she committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
[jnd] And it came to pass through the lightness of her fornication that she polluted the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
[kjv] And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
[nwb] And it came to pass through the lightness of her lewdness, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
[rsv] Because harlotry was so light to her, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.

[ylt] And it hath come to pass, from the vileness of her fornication, that the land is defiled, and she committeth fornication with stone and with wood.
[bbe] So that through all her loose behaviour the land became unclean, and she was untrue, giving herself to stones and trees.
3:10

[niv] In spite of all this, her unfaithful sister Judah did not return to me with all her heart, but only in pretense," declares the LORD.
[asv] And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not returned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith Jehovah.
[jnd] And even for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not returned unto me with her whole heart, but with falsehood, saith Jehovah.

3:11

[niv] The LORD said to me, "Faithless Israel is more righteous than unfaithful Judah.
[asv] And Jehovah said unto me, Backsliding Israel hath showed herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.
[jnd] And Jehovah said unto me, Backsliding Israel hath shewn herself more just than treacherous Judah.
[kjv] And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.
[nwb] And the LORD said to me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.
[rsv] And the LORD said to me, "Faithless Israel has shown herself less guilty than false Judah.
[web] Yahweh said to me, Backsliding Israel has showed herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.
[ylt] And Jehovah saith unto me: `Justified herself hath backsliding Israel, More than treacherous Judah.
[bbe] And the Lord said to me, Israel in her turning away is seen to be more upright than false Judah.
3:12
[cbgb] 你去向北方宣告说，耶和华说，背道的以色列阿，回来吧。我必不怒目看你们。因为我是慈爱的，我必不永远存怒。这是耶和华说的。 < | >
[niv] Go, proclaim this message toward the north: "`Return, faithless Israel,' declares the LORD, `I will frown on you no longer, for I am merciful,' declares the LORD, `I will not be angry forever.
[asv] Go, and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith Jehovah; I will not look in anger upon you; for I am merciful, saith Jehovah, I will not keep anger for ever.
[jnd] Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith Jehovah: I will not make my face dark upon you; for I am merciful, saith Jehovah; I will not keep for ever.

[bbe] Go, and give out these words to the north, and say, Come back, O Israel, though you have been turned away from me, says the Lord; my face will not be against you in wrath: for I am full of mercy, says the Lord, I will not be angry for ever.
3:13

[niv] Only acknowledge your guilt-- you have rebelled against the LORD your God, you have scattered your favors to foreign gods under every spreading tree, and have not obeyed me,'" declares the LORD.
[asv] Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against Jehovah thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith Jehovah.
[jnd] Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against Jehovah thy God, and hast turned thy ways hither and thither to the strangers under every green tree; and ye have not hearkened to my voice, saith Jehovah.
[kjv] Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.

[bbe] Only be conscious of your sin, the evil you have done against the Lord your God; you have gone with strange men under every branching tree, giving no attention to my voice, says the Lord.
3:14
[cbgb] 耶和华说，背道的儿女阿，回来吧。因为我作你们的丈夫，并且我必将你们从一城取一人，从一族取两人，带到锡安。 < | >
[niv] "Return, faithless people," declares the LORD, "for I am your husband. I will choose you--one from a town and two from a clan--and bring you to Zion.
[asv] Return, O backsliding children, saith Jehovah; for I am a husband unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
[jnd] Return, backsliding children, saith Jehovah; for I am a husband unto you, and I will take you, one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion.
[kjv] Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

[niv] Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.

[niv] In those days, when your numbers have increased greatly in the land," declares the LORD, "men will no longer say, `The ark of the covenant of the LORD.' It will never enter their minds or be remembered; it will not be missed, nor will another one be made.
[asv] And it shall come to pass, when ye are multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith Jehovah, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of Jehovah; neither shall it come to mind; neither shall they remember it; neither shall they miss it; neither shall it be made any more.
[jnd] And it shall come to pass, when ye are multiplied in the land and become fruitful, in those days, saith Jehovah, they shall say no more, Ark of the covenant of Jehovah! neither shall it come to mind, nor shall they remember it, nor shall they visit ; neither shall it be done any more.

[ylt] And it hath come to pass, when ye are multiplied, And have been fruitful in the land, In those days -- an affirmation of Jehovah, They say not any more, `The ark of the covenant of Jehovah,' Nor doth it go up on the heart, Nor do they remember concerning it, Nor do they inspect, nor is it made again.
[bbe] And it will come about, when your numbers are increased in the land, in those days, says the Lord, that they will no longer say, The ark of the agreement of the Lord: it will not come into their minds, they will not have any memory of it, or be conscious of the loss of it, and it will not be made again.
3:17
[cbgb] 那时，人必称耶路撒冷为耶和华的宝座。万国必到耶路撒冷，在耶和华立名的地方聚集。他们必不再随从自己顽梗的恶心行事。 < | >
[niv] At that time they will call Jerusalem The Throne of the LORD, and all nations will gather in Jerusalem to honor the name of the LORD. No longer will they follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts.
[asv] At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of Jehovah; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of Jehovah, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the stubbornness of their evil heart.
