[cbgb] 这许多的言语岂不该回答麽?多嘴多舌的人岂可称为义麽? < | >
[niv] "Are all these words to go unanswered? Is this talker to be vindicated?
[asv] Should not the multitude of words be answered?  And should a man full of talk be justified?  
[jnd] Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man of much talk be justified?
[kjv] Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
[nwb] Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
[rsv] "Should a multitude of words go unanswered, and a man full of talk be vindicated?
[web] . "Shouldn't the multitude of words be answered?Should a man full of talk be justified?
[ylt] Is a multitude of words not answered? And is a man of lips justified?
[bbe] Are all these words to go unanswered? and is a man seen to be right because he is full of talk?

[cbgb] 你夸大的话,岂能使人不作声麽ⅶ你戏笑的时候,岂没有人叫你害羞麽? < | >
[niv] Will your idle talk reduce men to silence? Will no one rebuke you when you mock?
[asv] Should thy boastings make men hold their peace?  And when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?  
[jnd] Should thy fictions make men hold their peace? and shouldest thou mock, and no one make ashamed?
[kjv] Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
[nwb] Should thy falsehoods make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
[rsv] Should your babble silence men, and when you mock, shall no one shame you?
[web] . Should your boastings make men hold their peace?When you mock, shall no man make you ashamed?
[ylt] Thy devices make men keep silent, Thou scornest, and none is causing blushing!
[bbe] Are your words of pride to make men keep quiet? and are you to make sport, with no one to put you to shame?

[niv] You say to God, `My beliefs are flawless and I am pure in your sight.'
[asv] For thou sayest, My doctrine is pure,  And I am clean in thine eyes.  
[jnd] For thou sayest, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
[kjv] For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
[nwb] For thou hast said, My doctrine pure, and I am clean in thy eyes.
[rsv] For you say, 'My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in God's eyes.'
[web] . For you say, 'My doctrine is pure,I am clean in your eyes.'
[ylt] And thou sayest, `Pure my discourse, And clean I have been in Thine eyes.'
[bbe] You may say, My way is clean, and I am free from sin in your eyes.
11:5

[niv] Oh, how I wish that God would speak, that he would open his lips against you
[asv] But oh that God would speak,  And open his lips against thee,  
[jnd] But oh that +God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
[kjv] But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
[nwb] But Oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
[rsv] But oh, that God would speak, and open his lips to you,

[ylt] And yet, O that God had spoken! And doth open His lips with thee.
[bbe] But if only God would take up the word, opening his lips in argument with you;

[cbgb] 并将智慧的奥秘指示你,他有诸般的智识。所以当知道 神追讨你,比你罪孽该得的还少。 < | >
[niv] and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom has two sides. Know this: God has even forgotten some of your sin.
[asv] And that he would show thee the secrets of wisdom!  For he is manifold in understanding.  Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.    
[jnd] And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, how that they are the double of what is realised; and know that +God passeth by of thine iniquity!
[kjv] And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.
[nwb] And that he would show thee the secrets of wisdom, that double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee than thy iniquity .
[rsv] and that he would tell you the secrets of wisdom! For he is manifold in understanding. Know then that God exacts of you less than your guilt deserves.

[ylt] And declare to thee secrets of wisdom, For counsel hath foldings. And know thou that God forgetteth for thee, of thine iniquity.

[niv] "Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty?
[asv] Canst thou by searching find out God?  Canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?  
[jnd] Canst thou by searching find out +God? canst thou find out the Almighty to perfection?
[kjv] Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
[nwb] Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty to perfection?
[rsv] "Can you find out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limit of the Almighty?

[bbe] Are you able to take God's measure, to make discovery of the limits of the Ruler of all?

[niv] They are higher than the heavens--what can you do? They are deeper than the depths of the grave --what can you know?
[asv] It is high as heaven; what canst thou do?  Deeper than Sheol; what canst thou know?  
[jnd] the heights of heaven; what wilt thou do? deeper than Sheol; what canst thou know?
[kjv] It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?
[nwb] as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?

[niv] Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea.
[asv] The measure thereof is longer than the earth,  And broader than the sea.

[niv] "If he comes along and confines you in prison and convenes a court, who can oppose him?
[asv] If he pass through, and shut up,  And all unto judgment, then who can hinder him?  
[jnd] If he pass by, and shut up, and call to judgment, who can hinder him?
[kjv] If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
[nwb] If he shall cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
[rsv] If he passes through, and imprisons, and calls to judgment, who can hinder him?
[web] . If he passes by, or confines,Or convenes a court, then who can oppose him?
[ylt] If He pass on, and shut up, and assemble, Who then dost reverse it?
[bbe] If he goes on his way, shutting a man up and putting him to death, who may make him go back from his purpose?

[cbgb] 他本知道虚妄的人。人的罪孽,他虽不留意,还是无所不见。 < | >
[niv] Surely he recognizes deceitful men; and when he sees evil, does he not take note?
[asv] For he knoweth false men:  He seeth iniquity also, even though he consider it not.  
[jnd] For he knoweth vain men, and seeth wickedness when doth not consider it;
[kjv] For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?
[nwb] For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider ?
[rsv] For he knows worthless men; when he sees iniquity, will he not consider it?
[web] . For he knows false men.He sees iniquity also, even though he doesn't consider it.
[ylt] For he hath known men of vanity, And He seeth iniquity, And one doth not consider !
[bbe] For in his eyes men are as nothing; he sees evil and takes note of it.
11:12
[cbgb] 空虚的人却毫无知识。人生在世好像野驴的驹子。 < | >
[niv] But a witless man can no more become wise than a wild donkey's colt can be born a man.
[asv] But vain man is void of understanding,  Yea, man is born as a wild ass's colt.    
[jnd] Yet a senseless man will make bold, though man be born the foal of a wild ass.
[kjv] For vain men would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt.
[nwb] For vain man would be wise, though man is born a wild ass's colt.
[rsv] But a stupid man will get understanding, when a wild ass's colt is born a man.
[web] . But vain man can become wiseIf a man can be born as a wild donkey's colt.
[ylt] And empty man is bold, And the colt of a wild ass man is born.
[bbe] And so a hollow-minded man will get wisdom, when a young ass of the field gets teaching.

[niv] "Yet if you devote your heart to him and stretch out your hands to him,
[asv] If thou set thy heart aright,  And stretch out thy hands toward him;  
[jnd] If thou prepare thy heart and stretch out thy hands toward him,
[kjv] If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
[nwb] If thou preparest thy heart, and stretchest out thy hands towards him;
[rsv] "If you set your heart aright, you will stretch out your hands toward him.
[web] . "If you set your heart aright,Stretch out your hands toward him.
[ylt] If thou -- thou hast prepared thy heart, And hast spread out unto Him thy hands,
[bbe] But if you put your heart right, stretching out your hands to him;

[cbgb] 你手里若有罪孽,就当远远地除掉,也不容非义住在你帐棚之中。 < | >
[niv] if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent,
[asv] If iniquity be in thy hand, put it far away,  And let not unrighteousness dwell in thy tents.  
[jnd] If thou put far away the iniquity which is in thy hand, and let not wrong dwell in thy tents;
[kjv] If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
[nwb] If iniquity in thy hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.

[cbgb] 那时,你必仰起脸来毫无斑点。你也必坚固,无所惧怕。 < | >
[niv] then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and without fear.
[asv] Surely then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot;  Yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:  
[jnd] Surely then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot, and thou shalt be stedfast and shalt not fear:
[kjv] For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
[nwb] For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yes, thou shalt be steadfast, and shalt not fear:
[rsv] Surely then you will lift up your face without blemish; you will be secure, and will not fear.
[web] . Surely then shall you lift up your face without spot;Yes, you shall be steadfast, and shall not fear:
[ylt] For then thou liftest up thy face from blemish, And thou hast been firm, and fearest not.
[bbe] Then truly your face will be lifted up, with no mark of sin, and you will be fixed in your place without fear:

[cbgb] 你必忘记你的苦楚,就是想起也如流过去的水一样。 < | >
[niv] You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by.
[asv] For thou shalt forget thy misery;  Thou shalt remember it as waters that are passed away,  
[jnd] For thou shalt forget misery; as waters that are passed away shalt thou remember it;
[kjv] Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:
[nwb] Because thou shalt forget misery, remember as waters pass away:
[rsv] You will forget your misery; you will remember it as waters that have passed away.
[web] . For you shall forget your misery;You shall remember it as waters that are passed away,
[ylt] For thou dost forget misery, As waters passed away thou rememberest.
[bbe] For your sorrow will go from your memory, like waters flowing away:

[cbgb] 你在世的日子要比正午更明,虽有黑暗仍像早晨。 < | >
[niv] Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning.
[asv] And thy life shall be clearer than the noonday;  Though there be darkness, it shall be as the morning.  
[jnd] And life shall arise brighter than noonday; though thou be enshrouded in darkness, thou shalt be as the morning,
[kjv] And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
[nwb] And age shall be clearer than the noon-day: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
[rsv] And your life will be brighter than the noonday; its darkness will be like the morning.
[web] . Life shall be clearer than the noonday; Though there is darkness, it shall be as the morning.
[ylt] And above the noon doth age rise, Thou fliest -- as the morning thou art.
[bbe] And your life will be brighter than day; though it is dark, it will become like the morning.
11:18
[cbgb] 你因有指望就必稳固,也必四围巡查,坦然安息。 < | >
[niv] You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety.
[asv] And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope;  Yea, thou shalt search about thee, and shalt take thy rest in safety.  
[jnd] And thou shalt have confidence, because there shall be hope; and having searched about , thou shalt take rest in safety.
[kjv] And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
[nwb] And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yes, thou shalt dig , thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
[rsv] And you will have confidence, because there is hope; you will be protected and take your rest in safety.
[web] . You shall be secure, because there is hope;Yes, you shall search, and shall take your rest in safety.
[ylt] And thou hast trusted because their is hope, And searched -- in confidence thou liest down,
[bbe] And you will be safe because there is hope; after looking round, you will take your rest in quiet;
11:19
[cbgb] 你躺卧,无人惊吓,且有许多人向你求恩。 < | >
[niv] You will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor.
[asv] Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid;  Yea, many shall make suit unto thee.  
[jnd] Yea, thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; and many shall seek thy favour.
[kjv] Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.
[nwb] Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make afraid; yes, many shall make suit to thee.
[rsv] You will lie down, and none will make you afraid; many will entreat your favor.
[web] . Also you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid;Yes, many shall court your favor.
[ylt] And thou hast rested, And none is causing trembling, And many have entreated thy face;
[bbe] Sleeping with no fear of danger; and men will be desiring to have grace in your eyes;
11:20
[cbgb] 但恶人的眼目必要失明。他们无路可逃。他们的指望就是气绝。 <
[niv] But the eyes of the wicked will fail, and escape will elude them; their hope will become a dying gasp."
[asv] But the eyes of the wicked shall fail,  And they shall have no way to flee;  And their hope shall be the giving up of the ghost.
[jnd] But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and refuge shall vanish from them, and their hope the breathing out of life.
[kjv] But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.
[nwb] But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope the expiration of the breath.
[rsv] But the eyes of the wicked will fail; all way of escape will be lost to them, and their hope is to breathe their last."
[web] . But the eyes of the wicked shall fail,They shall have no way to flee;Their hope shall be the giving up of the spirit."
[ylt] And the eyes of the wicked are consumed, And refuge hath perished from them, And their hope a breathing out of soul!
[bbe] But the eyes of the evil-doers will be wasting away; their way of flight is gone, and their only hope is the taking of their last breath.
