35:2

[niv] "Do you think this is just? You say, `I will be cleared by God. '
[asv] Thinkest thou this to be thy right,  Or sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God's,  
[jnd] Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than 鵊od's?
[kjv] Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
[nwb] Thinkest thou this to be right, thou saidst, My righteousness more than God's?
[rsv] "Do you think this to be just? Do you say, 'It is my right before God,'
[web] . "Do you think this to be your right,Or do you say, 'My righteousness is more than God's,'
[ylt] This hast thou reckoned for judgment: Thou hast said -- `My righteousness more than God's?'
[bbe] Does it seem to you to be right, and righteousness before God, to say,
35:3
[cbgb] 才说这与我有什么益处。我不犯罪比犯罪有什么好处呢？ < | >
[niv] Yet you ask him, `What profit is it to me, and what do I gain by not sinning?'
[asv] That thou sayest, What advantage will it be unto thee?  And, What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned?  
[jnd] For thou hast asked of what profit it is unto thee: what do I gain more than if I had sinned?
[kjv] For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?
[nwb] For thou saidst, What advantage will it be to thee? , What profit shall I have, from my sin?
[rsv] that you ask, 'What advantage have I? How am I better off than if I had sinned?'
[web] . That you ask, 'What advantage will it be to you?What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned?'
[ylt] For thou sayest, `What doth it profit Thee! What do I profit from my sin?'
[bbe] What profit is it to me, and how am I better off than if I had done wrong?
35:4

[niv] "I would like to reply to you and to your friends with you.
[asv] I will answer thee,  And thy companions with thee.  
[jnd] I will reply to thee in words, and to thy companions with thee.

[rsv] I will answer you and your friends with you.
[web] . I will answer you,And your companions with you.
[ylt] I return thee words, and thy friends with thee,

[niv] Look up at the heavens and see; gaze at the clouds so high above you.
[asv] Look unto the heavens, and see;  And behold the skies, which are higher than thou.  
[jnd] Look unto the heavens and see; and survey the skies: they are higher than thou.

35:6

[niv] If you sin, how does that affect him? If your sins are many, what does that do to him?
[asv] If thou hast sinned, what effectest thou against him?  And if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?  
[jnd] If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? If thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
[kjv] If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
[nwb] If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or thy transgressions are multiplied, what doest thou to him?
[rsv] If you have sinned, what do you accomplish against him? And if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to him?

[bbe] If you have done wrong, is he any the worse for it? and if your sins are great in number, what is it to him?
35:7

[niv] If you are righteous, what do you give to him, or what does he receive from your hand?
[asv] If thou be righteous, what givest thou him?  Or what receiveth he of thy hand?  
[jnd] If thou be righteous, what givest thou to him? or what doth he receive of thy hand?
[kjv] If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
[nwb] If thou art righteous, what givest thou to him? or what receiveth he from thy hand?
[rsv] If you are righteous, what do you give to him; or what does he receive from your hand?

[ylt] If thou hast been righteous, What dost thou give to Him? Or what from thy hand doth He receive?
[bbe] If you are upright, what do you give to him? or what does he take from your hand?
35:8
[cbgb] 你的过恶，或能害你这类的人。你的公义，或能叫世人得益处。 < | >
[niv] Your wickedness affects only a man like yourself, and your righteousness only the sons of men.
[asv] Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art;  And thy righteousness may profit a son of man.    
[jnd] Thy wickedness a man as thou , and thy righteousness a son of man.
[kjv] Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.
[nwb] Thy wickedness a man as thou and thy righteousness the son of man.
[rsv] Your wickedness concerns a man like yourself, and your righteousness a son of man.

35:9

[niv] "Men cry out under a load of oppression; they plead for relief from the arm of the powerful.
[asv] By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out;  They cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty.  
[jnd] By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry; they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty:
[kjv] By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
[nwb] By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
[rsv] "Because of the multitude of oppressions people cry out; they call for help because of the arm of the mighty.
[web] . "By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out;They cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty.
[ylt] Because of the multitude of oppressions They cause to cry out, They cry because of the arm of the mighty.
[bbe] Because the hand of the cruel is hard on them, men are making sounds of grief; they are crying out for help because of the arm of the strong.
35:10

[niv] But no one says, `Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,
[asv] But none saith, Where is God my Maker,  Who giveth songs in the night,  
[jnd] But none saith, Where is +God my Maker, who giveth songs in the night,
[kjv] But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
[nwb] But none saith, Where God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
[rsv] But none says, 'Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,

[ylt] And none said, `Where God my maker? Giving songs in the night,

35:11
[cbgb] 教训我们胜于地上的走兽，使我们有聪明胜于空中的飞鸟。 < | >
[niv] who teaches more to us than to the beasts of the earth and makes us wiser than the birds of the air?'
[asv] Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth,  And maketh us wiser than the birds of the heavens?  
[jnd] Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowl of the heavens?
[kjv] Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
[nwb] Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

35:12

[niv] He does not answer when men cry out because of the arrogance of the wicked.
[asv] There they cry, but none giveth answer,  Because of the pride of evil men.  
[jnd] There they cry, and he answereth not, because of the pride of evil men.
[kjv] There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.

35:13
[cbgb] 虚妄的呼求，　神必不垂听。全能者也必不眷顾。 < | >
[niv] Indeed, God does not listen to their empty plea; the Almighty pays no attention to it.
[asv] Surely God will not hear an empty cry,  Neither will the Almighty regard it.  
[jnd] Surely 鵊od will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
[kjv] Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
[nwb] Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
[rsv] Surely God does not hear an empty cry, nor does the Almighty regard it.

35:14
[cbgb] 何况你说，你不得见他。你的案件在他面前，你等候他吧。 < | >
[niv] How much less, then, will he listen when you say that you do not see him, that your case is before him and you must wait for him,
[asv] How much less when thou sayest thou beholdest him not,  The cause is before him, and thou waitest for him!  
[jnd] Although thou sayest thou dost not see him, judgment is before him, therefore wait for him.
[kjv] Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.
[nwb] Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, judgment before him; therefore trust thou in him.
[rsv] How much less when you say that you do not see him, that the case is before him, and you are waiting for him!

35:15
[cbgb] 但如今因他未曾发怒降罚，也不甚理会狂傲， < | >
[niv] and further, that his anger never punishes and he does not take the least notice of wickedness.
[asv] But now, because he hath not visited in his anger,  Neither doth he greatly regard arrogance;  
[jnd] But now, because he hath not visited in his anger, doth not know great arrogancy?
[kjv] But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity:
[nwb] But now, because not , he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth not in great extremity:
[rsv] And now, because his anger does not punish, and he does not greatly heed transgression,
[web] . But now, because he has not visited in his anger,Neither does he greatly regard arrogance.
[ylt] And, now, because there is not, He hath appointed His anger, And He hath not known in great extremity.

[niv] So Job opens his mouth with empty talk; without knowledge he multiplies words."
[asv] Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vanity;  He multiplieth words without knowledge.
[jnd] For Job hath opened his mouth in vanity, and made words abundant without knowledge.
[kjv] Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
[nwb] Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
[rsv] Job opens his mouth in empty talk, he multiplies words without knowledge."
