40:2
[cbgb] 强辩的岂可与全能者争论麽?与 神辩驳的可以回答这些吧。 < | >
[niv] "Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!"
[asv] Shall he that cavilleth contend with the Almighty?  He that argueth with God, let him answer it.
[jnd] Shall he that will contend with the Almighty instruct ? he that reproveth +God, let him answer it.
[kjv] Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
[nwb] Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct ? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
[rsv] "Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it."

[niv] "I am unworthy--how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth.
[asv] Behold, I am of small account; What shall I answer thee?  I lay my hand upon my mouth.

[niv] "Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.
[asv] Gird up thy loins now like a man:  I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

[niv] "Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself?
[asv] Wilt thou even annul my judgment?  Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?  
[jnd] Wilt thou also annul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me that thou mayest be righteous?

[niv] Do you have an arm like God's, and can your voice thunder like his?
[asv] Or hast thou an arm like God?  And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

[niv] Unleash the fury of your wrath, look at every proud man and bring him low,
[asv] Pour forth the overflowings of thine anger;  And look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.

[niv] He ranks first among the works of God, yet his Maker can approach him with his sword.
[asv] He is the chief of the ways of God:  He only that made him giveth him his sword.

[niv] When the river rages, he is not alarmed; he is secure, though the Jordan should surge against his mouth.
[asv] Behold, if a river overflow, he trembleth not;  He is confident, though a Jordan swell even to his mouth.  
[jnd] Lo, the river overfloweth -- he startleth not: he is confident though a Jordan break forth against his mouth.
[kjv] Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.

[niv] Can anyone capture him by the eyes, or trap him and pierce his nose?
[asv] Shall any take him when he is on the watch,  Or pierce through his nose with a snare?
