[niv] His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them.
[asv] and his garments became glistering, exceeding white, so as no fuller on earth can whiten them.

[niv] Jesus replied, "To be sure, Elijah does come first, and restores all things. Why then is it written that the Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected?

[niv] "O unbelieving generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me."
[asv] And he answereth them and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I bear with you? bring him unto me.

[cbgb] 鬼屡次把他扔在火里,水里,要灭他。你若能作什么,求你怜悯我们,帮助我们。 < | >
[niv] "It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."
[asv] And oft-times it hath cast him both into the fire and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.
