[niv] Everyone lies to his neighbor; their flattering lips speak with deception.
[asv] They speak falsehood every one with his neighbor:  With flattering lip, and with a double heart, do they speak.

[cbgb] 凡油滑的嘴唇，和夸大的舌头，耶和华必要剪除。 < | >
[niv] May the LORD cut off all flattering lips and every boastful tongue
[asv] Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips,  The tongue that speaketh great things;  
[jnd] Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaketh proud things,

12:4
[cbgb] 他们曾说，我们必能以舌头得胜。我们的嘴唇是我们自己的。谁能作我们主呢？ < | >
[niv] that says, "We will triumph with our tongues; we own our lips --who is our master?"
[asv] Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail;  Our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

12:5
[cbgb] 耶和华说，因为困苦人的冤屈，和贫穷人的叹息，我现在要起来，把他安置在他所切慕的稳妥之地。 < | >
[niv] "Because of the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy, I will now arise," says the LORD. "I will protect them from those who malign them."
[asv] Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy,  Now will I arise, saith Jehovah;  I will set him in the safety he panteth for.  
[jnd] Because of the oppression of the afflicted, because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith Jehovah, I will set in safety, at whom they puff.
[kjv] For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

[cbgb] 耶和华的言语，是纯净的言语。如同银子在泥炉中炼过七次。 < | >
[niv] And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times.
[asv] The words of Jehovah are pure words;  As silver tried in a furnace on the earth,  Purified seven times.  
[jnd] The words of Jehovah are pure words, silver tried in the furnace of earth, purified seven times.

[niv] O LORD, you will keep us safe and protect us from such people forever.
[asv] Thou wilt keep them, O Jehovah,  Thou wilt preserve them from this generation for ever.
