[cbgb] （上行之诗）以色列当说，从我幼年以来，敌人屡次苦害我， >
[niv] They have greatly oppressed me from my youth-- let Israel say--

[niv] they have greatly oppressed me from my youth, but they have not gained the victory over me.
[asv] Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth up:  Yet they have not prevailed against me.  
[jnd] Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth; yet they have not prevailed against me.
[kjv] Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.

[niv] Plowmen have plowed my back and made their furrows long.
[asv] The plowers plowed upon my back;  They made long their furrows.  
[jnd] The ploughers ploughed upon my back; they made long their furrows.
[kjv] The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.
[nwb] The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.

[cbgb] 耶和华是公义的。他砍断了恶人的绳索。 < | >
[niv] But the LORD is righteous; he has cut me free from the cords of the wicked.
[asv] Jehovah is righteous:  He hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.  
[jnd] Jehovah is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.
[kjv] The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.
[nwb] The LORD righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.

129:5
[cbgb] 愿恨恶锡安的，都蒙羞退后。 < | >
[niv] May all who hate Zion be turned back in shame.
[asv] Let them be put to shame and turned backward,  All they that hate Zion.  
[jnd] Let them be ashamed and turned backward, all that hate Zion;
[kjv] Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
[nwb] Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
[rsv] May all who hate Zion be put to shame and turned backward!

[niv] May they be like grass on the roof, which withers before it can grow;
[asv] Let them be as the grass upon the housetops,  Which withereth before it *groweth up;  
[jnd] Let them be as the grass upon the house-tops, which withereth before it is plucked up,
[kjv] Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
[nwb] Let them be as the grass the house-tops, which withereth before it groweth up:
[rsv] Let them be like the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up,
[web] . Let them be as the grass on the housetops,Which withers before it grows up;
[ylt] They are as grass of the roofs, That before it was drawn out withereth,
[bbe] Let them be like the grass on the house-tops, which is dry before it comes to full growth.
129:7
[cbgb] 收割的不够一把，捆禾的也不满怀。 < | >
[niv] with it the reaper cannot fill his hands, nor the one who gathers fill his arms.
[asv] Wherewith the reaper filleth not his hand,  Nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.  
[jnd] Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand, nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom;
[kjv] Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
[nwb] With which the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves, his bosom.
[rsv] with which the reaper does not fill his hand or the binder of sheaves his bosom,
[web] . With which the reaper doesn't fill his hand,Nor he who binds sheaves, his bosom.
[ylt] That hath not filled the hand of a reaper, And the bosom of a binder of sheaves.
[bbe] He who gets in the grain has no use for it; and they do not make bands of it for the grain-stems.
129:8
[cbgb] 过路的也不说，愿耶和华所赐的福，归与你们。我们奉耶和华的名，给你们祝福。 <
[niv] May those who pass by not say, "The blessing of the LORD be upon you; we bless you in the name of the LORD."
[asv] Neither do they that go by say,  The blessing of Jehovah be upon you;  We bless you in the name of Jehovah. Psalm
[jnd] Neither do the passers-by say, The blessing of Jehovah be upon you; we bless you in the name of Jehovah!
[kjv] Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
[nwb] Neither do they who go by, say, The blessing of the LORD upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
[rsv] while those who pass by do not say, "The blessing of the LORD be upon you! We bless you in the name of the LORD!"
[web] . Neither do those who go by say,"The blessing of Yahweh be on you.We bless you in the name of Yahweh."A Song of Ascents.
[ylt] And the passers by have not said, `The blessing of Jehovah on you, We blessed you in the Name of Jehovah!'
