[niv] He swore an oath to the LORD and made a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:
[asv] How he sware unto Jehovah,  And vowed unto the Mighty One of Jacob:

[asv] Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house,  Nor go up into my bed;

[niv] The LORD swore an oath to David, a sure oath that he will not revoke: "One of your own descendants I will place on your throne--
[asv] Jehovah hath sworn unto David in truth;  He will not turn from it:  Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.  
[jnd] Jehovah hath sworn truth unto David; he will not turn from it: Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne;
[kjv] The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

[rsv] The LORD swore to David a sure oath from which he will not turn back: "One of the sons of your body I will set on your throne.

[cbgb] 你的众子若守我的约，和我所教训他们的法度，他们的子孙，必永远坐在你的宝座上。 < | >
[niv] if your sons keep my covenant and the statutes I teach them, then their sons will sit on your throne for ever and ever."
[asv] If thy children will keep my covenant  And my testimony that I shall teach them,  Their children also shall sit upon thy throne for evermore.
