[niv] who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day.
[asv] Who devise mischiefs in their heart;  Continually do they gather themselves together for war.  
[jnd] Who devise mischiefs in heart; every day are they banded together for war.
[kjv] Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.

[niv] They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent's; the poison of vipers is on their lips.
[asv] They have sharpened their tongue like a serpent;  Adders' poison is under their lips. Selah  
[jnd] They sharpen their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.

[niv] Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from men of violence who plan to trip my feet.
[asv] Keep me, O Jehovah, from the hands of the wicked;  Preserve me from the violent man:  Who have purposed to thrust aside my steps.

[niv] O LORD, I say to you, "You are my God." Hear, O LORD, my cry for mercy.
[asv] I said unto Jehovah, Thou art my God:  Give ear unto the voice of my supplications, O Jehovah.  
[jnd] I have said unto Jehovah, Thou art my 鵊od: give ear, O Jehovah, to the voice of my supplications.

[niv] O Sovereign LORD, my strong deliverer, who shields my head in the day of battle--
[asv] O Jehovah the Lord, the strength of my salvation,  Thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

[asv] Grant not, O Jehovah, the desires of the wicked;  Further not his evil device, lest they exalt themselves. Selah

[niv] Let the heads of those who surround me be covered with the trouble their lips have caused.
[asv] As for the head of those that compass me about,  Let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

[niv] Let slanderers not be established in the land; may disaster hunt down men of violence.
[asv] An evil speaker shall not be established in the earth:  Evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.  
[jnd] Let not the man of tongue be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the man of violence to ruin.
[kjv] Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

[cbgb] 我知道耶和华必为困苦人伸冤，必为穷乏人辨屈。 < | >
[niv] I know that the LORD secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy.
[asv] I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted,  And justice for the needy.  
[jnd] I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted one, the right of the needy.
