[niv] As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.
[asv] As the hart panteth after the water brooks,  So panteth my soul after thee, O God.  
[jnd] {To the chief Musician. An instruction; of the sons of Korah.} As the hart panteth after the water-brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

[niv] My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?
[asv] My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:  When shall I come and appear before God?  
[jnd] My soul thirsteth for God, for the living 鵊od: when shall I come and appear before God?

[niv] My tears have been my food day and night, while men say to me all day long, "Where is your God?"
[asv] My tears have been my food day and night,  While they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?  
[jnd] My tears have been my bread day and night, while they say unto me all the day, Where is thy God?
[kjv] My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?

[niv] These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go with the multitude, leading the procession to the house of God, with shouts of joy and thanksgiving among the festive throng.
[asv] These things I remember, and pour out my soul within me,  How I went with the throng, and led them to the house of God,  With the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping holyday.  
[jnd] These things I remember and have poured out my soul within me: how I passed along with the multitude, how I went on with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, a festive multitude.
[kjv] When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.

[cbgb] 我的心哪,你为何忧闷,为何在我里面烦躁。因当仰望 神。因他笑脸帮助我,我还要称赞他。 < | >
[niv] Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and
[asv] Why art thou cast down, O my soul?  And why art thou disquieted within me?  Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him  For the help of his countenance.  
[jnd] Why art thou cast down, my soul, and art disquieted in me? hope in God; for I shall yet praise him, the health of his countenance.

[niv] my God. My soul is downcast within me; therefore I will remember you from the land of the Jordan, the heights of Hermon--from Mount Mizar.
[asv] O my God, my soul is cast down within me:  Therefore do I remember thee from the land of the Jordan,  And the Hermons, from the hill Mizar.  
[jnd] My God, my soul is cast down within me; therefore do I remember thee from the land of the Jordan, and the Hermons, from mount Mizar.

[asv] Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterfalls:  All thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.  
[jnd] Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy cataracts; all thy breakers and thy billows are gone over me.

[niv] By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me-- a prayer to the God of my life.
[asv] Yet Jehovah will command his lovingkindness in the day-time;  And in the night his song shall be with me,  Even a prayer unto the God of my life.  
[jnd] In the day-time will Jehovah command his loving-kindness, and in the night his song shall be with me, a prayer unto the 鵊od of my life.
[kjv] Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

[niv] I say to God my Rock, "Why have you forgotten me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?"
[asv] I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me?  Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?  
[jnd] I will say unto 鵊od my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
[kjv] I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

[cbgb] 我的仇敌辱骂我,好像打碎我的骨头,不住的对我说,你的 神在那里呢? < | >
[niv] My bones suffer mortal agony as my foes taunt me, saying to me all day long, "Where is your God?"
[asv] As with a sword in my bones, mine adversaries reproach me,  While they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?  
[jnd] As with a crushing in my bones mine adversaries reproach me, while they say unto me all the day, Where is thy God?
[kjv] As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God?
