[niv] Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray.
[asv] Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God;  For unto thee do I pray.

[niv] In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.
[asv] O Jehovah, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice;  In the morning will I order my prayer unto thee, and will keep watch.  
[jnd] Jehovah, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; in the morning will I address myself to thee, and will look up.
[kjv] My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

[niv] You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil; with you the wicked cannot dwell.
[asv] For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness:  Evil shall not sojourn with thee.  
[jnd] For thou art not a 鵊od that hath pleasure in wickedness; evil shall not sojourn with thee.
[kjv] For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

[niv] The arrogant cannot stand in your presence; you hate all who do wrong.
[asv] The arrogant shall not stand in thy sight:  Thou hatest all workers of iniquity.  
[jnd] Insolent fools shall not stand before thine eyes; thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

5:6
[cbgb] 说谎言的，你必灭绝。好流人血弄诡诈的，都为耶和华所憎恶。 < | >
[niv] You destroy those who tell lies; bloodthirsty and deceitful men the LORD abhors.
[asv] Thou wilt destroy them that speak lies:  Jehovah abhorreth the blood-thirsty and deceitful man.  
[jnd] Thou wilt destroy them that speak lies: Jehovah abhorreth a man of blood and deceit.
[kjv] Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
[nwb] Thou shalt destroy them that speak falsehood: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
[rsv] Thou destroyest those who speak lies; the LORD abhors bloodthirsty and deceitful men.

5:7
[cbgb] 至于我，我必凭你丰盛的慈爱进入你的居所。我必存敬畏你的心向你的圣殿下拜。 < | >
[niv] But I, by your great mercy, will come into your house; in reverence will I bow down toward your holy temple.
[asv] But as for me, in the abundance of thy lovingkindness will I come into thy house:  In thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.  
[jnd] But as for me, in the greatness of thy loving-kindness will I enter thy house; I will bow down toward the temple of thy holiness in thy fear.
[kjv] But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

[niv] Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with destruction. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongue they speak deceit.
[asv] For there is no faithfulness in their mouth;  Their inward part is very wickedness;  Their throat is an open sepulchre;  They flatter with their tongue.  
[jnd] For there is no certainty in their mouth; their inward part is perversion, their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

[niv] Declare them guilty, O God! Let their intrigues be their downfall. Banish them for their many sins, for they have rebelled against you.
[asv] Hold them guilty, O God;  Let them fall by their own counsels;  Thrust them out in the multitude of their transgressions;  For they have rebelled against thee.

[niv] But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
[asv] But let all those that take refuge in thee rejoice,  Let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them:  Let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.  
[jnd] And all that trust in thee shall rejoice: for ever shall they shout joyously, and thou wilt protect them; and they that love thy name shall exult in thee.

[niv] For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
[asv] For thou wilt bless the righteous;  O Jehovah, thou wilt compass him with favor as with a shield. Psalm
[jnd] For thou, Jehovah, wilt bless the righteous ; with favour wilt thou surround him as a shield.
