[niv] From their callous hearts comes iniquity ; the evil conceits of their minds know no limits.
[asv] Their eyes stand out with fatness:  They have more than heart could wish.

[niv] They scoff, and speak with malice; in their arrogance they threaten oppression.
[asv] They scoff, and in wickedness utter oppression:  They speak loftily.  
[jnd] They mock and speak wickedly of oppression, they speak loftily:
[kjv] They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.

[niv] Their mouths lay claim to heaven, and their tongues take possession of the earth.
[asv] They have set their mouth in the heavens,  And their tongue walketh through the earth.

[niv] This is what the wicked are like-- always carefree, they increase in wealth.
[asv] Behold, these are the wicked;  And, being alway at ease, they increase in riches.

[niv] When I tried to understand all this, it was oppressive to me
[asv] When I thought how I might know this,  It was too painful for me;

[asv] How are they become a desolation in a moment!  They are utterly consumed with terrors.

[niv] As a dream when one awakes, so when you arise, O Lord, you will despise them as fantasies.
[asv] As a dream when one awaketh,  So, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou wilt despise their image.  
[jnd] As a dream, when one awaketh, wilt thou, Lord, on arising despise their image.
[kjv] As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

[niv] My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

[niv] Those who are far from you will perish; you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.
[asv] For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish:  Thou hast destroyed all them that play the harlot, departing from thee.  
[jnd] For behold, they that are far from thee shall perish; thou destroyest every one that goeth a whoring from thee.
[kjv] For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.

[cbgb] 但我亲近 神是与我有益。我以主耶和华为我的避难所,好叫我述说你一切的作为。 <
[niv] But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.
[asv] But it is good for me to draw near unto God:  I have made the Lord Jehovah my refuge,  That I may tell of all thy works. Psalm
[jnd] But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord Jehovah, that I may declare all thy works.
[kjv] But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
