[niv] My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
[asv] My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah;  My heart and my flesh *cry out unto the living God.  
[jnd] My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living 鵊od.

[niv] Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young-- a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.
[asv] Yea, the sparrow hath found her a house,  And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young,  Even thine altars, O Jehovah of hosts,  My King, and my God.

[niv] Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.
[asv] Blessed are they that dwell in thy house:  They will be still praising thee. Selah

[niv] Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.
[asv] Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee;  In whose heart are the highways to Zion.  
[jnd] Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee, -- they, in whose heart are the highways.
[kjv] Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

[niv] As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
[asv] Passing through the valley of *Weeping they make it a place of springs;  Yea, the early rain covereth it with blessings.  
[jnd] Passing through the valley of Baca, they make it a well-spring; yea, the early rain covereth it with blessings.
[kjv] Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

[niv] Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
[asv] For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.  I had rather *be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,  Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

[niv] For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.
[asv] For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield:  Jehovah will give grace and glory;  No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.  
[jnd] For Jehovah Elohim is a sun and shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
